Dear applicants, Thank you for submitting your stock pitches. We understand the effort required to prepare a stock pitch, especially for those of you doing this for the first time. We recognize that the past week has been challenging, and we deeply appreciate each and every one of your hard work and dedication. A SMIF representative should have reached out to applicants by now. Please check that you have been assigned into a telegram group for the dissemination of round 1 interview details. For those who have not, please check your SMU email. If you have submitted a pitch and have yet to be contacted, please email us immediately at smusmif@sa.smu.edu.sg. Thank you all once again for your efforts and we look forward to seeing you!

Dear applicants, Gentle reminder that the submission of your slides and model is due tomorrow at 6pm. Please check that you are able to access the Forms link that was emailed to you (you will need to log in with your SMU email) – otherwise, please reach out to us at smusmif@sa.smu.edu.sg immediately as it may be difficult to attend to an influx of last-minute requests. Dear applicants, Thank you for taking the time to fill out the SMIF application form. We have released (via email) the stock counter/company to analyze, along with a handout on recommendations and tips for the stock pitch. Again, the submission deadline for the deliverables is 23 Aug (Fri), 1800H. Deliverables consist of a slide deck (in PowerPoint) and an excel model. Do submit on time as late submissions will not be considered. If you have submitted a form and have yet to receive an email, please contact us at smusmif@sa.smu.edu.sg immediately. A SMIF representative will reach out at a later date with more details of the round 1 interview.

Thank you for taking the time to attend yesterday’s SMIF Showcase! We hope it was fruitful and that you have a better understanding about SMIF 😌 As a final reminder, applications CLOSE in 24H! We encourage students who are interested in finance to apply regardless of their background, as a significant majority of our members enter SMIF with no prior industry experience. To get to the SMIF Sharing Session Venue, take the lift at SOL up to Level 4 and turn left. You will see a long walkway to enter the Lounge. Alternatively take the lift at Connex to Level 3 and cross over to SOL and head up to Level 4.
