when do we usually use it ? Moderate to severe persistent asthma in patients with elevated IgE levels who are not adequately controlled with standard therapies.

Omalizumab is a monoclonal antibody that targets IgE. It works by binding to free IgE antibodies in the bloodstream, preventing them from attaching to IgE receptors on mast cells and basophils.

Trauma Management Approach: CABC in Trauma: Catastrophic Hemorrhage first. Control massive bleeding using direct pressure, tourniquets, or hemostatic agents. Once hemorrhage is managed, move to: Airway: Ensure it's clear and open (consider cervical spine protection). Breathing: Check for adequate ventilation (chest rise, oxygen saturation). Circulation: Assess pulse, control minor bleeding, and maintain perfusion (IV fluids or blood products if needed). ABC in Trauma: Use ABC (Airway, Breathing, Circulation) for non-life-threatening trauma. Always prioritize airway and breathing if there's no massive hemorrhage. Key in Exams: Apply CABC when you see massive bleeding. Stick to ABC in other trauma situations. Prioritize interventions based on what kills fastest: bleeding > airway obstruction > respiratory failure > shock.
