San Diego Fur Con remains an active project, but our timeline has changed. Early non-profit filing errors require state & federal corrections, & those processes take months. We’re reevaluating our debut year to ensure a strong foundation. Thank you for your patience & support.

501(c)(3) Status Update! TL;DR: We’re in the final stage of becoming a nonprofit! We just had to fix a quick signature issue, and now we’re resubmitting the paperwork. Once it’s in, the IRS will send our official determination letter!

FRESH ANNOUNCEMENT FROM FURCAL!!! SDFC is proud to be hosting an introductory panel at FURTHER CONFUSION 2025 in SAN JOSE Next Month!!! We’ll be answering questions, revealing some marketing stuff, introducing us as the board and as a con, and giving you an update on where we are in planning! We’ll also be holding a raffle for a book set, where proceeds help build our budget to get this event off the ground!
