COLD WALLET ILLUSION 😈 Never talk about security, but this one might save someone from a lot of pain. Cold wallets aren’t as safe as people think. Imagine not touching your hardware wallet for months, then checking it and it’s just empty. No warning. No clue how. It’s even happened to people using Ledger, Trezor, the “trusted” ones. Seed compromise, supply chain attack, someone getting physical access, a dumb mistake. Half the time you never even find out which. That’s the part that gets me. Not the hack. The not knowing. And even with a perfect seed, you’re still one wrong address or one bad actor away from losing everything. 🧃 MY TAKE: If you just want BTC or ETH exposure long term, why take on all that risk? That’s why I stepped back from believing hardware wallets completely. Now I advise you just hold the BlackRock ETF for BTC or ETH via your bank. No seed to lose, no address to screw up, no device to compromise, no thief showing up at your door to kidnap or extort you. Blackrock isn’t going anywhere. Do this, sleep peacefully at night…

Been a while… 😴 Still haven’t bought back in. I still believe we go lower. Why: 🔥 Almost everyone and their mother thinks the bottom is already in and that the 4-year cycle won’t play out. Same thing happened near the top when people faded the cycle. Fading something that’s never really failed is pretty stupid. 🍑 Dr Profit has basically become the new capo of Crypto Twitter. Everyone follows him now - retail and KOLs alike. Either he’s gotten too big to be right, or he’s been bought by the matrix. His calls trend across X and everyone piles in. That alone makes me skeptical. Buying between 54k–64k will probably still look good if the real bottom ends up around 40k–50k, but you get the point. 😐 I think there are now more people convinced the bottom is in than people expecting another leg down / the four year cycle to play out. That’s the perfect setup to trap everyone into longs and then dump the market 30–50%. Overall, buying here makes sense if you’re a pussy and just want to play it safe. Personally, I don’t see a single reason to do it. As for who I’m following out of the ones I mentioned earlier, Dr Profit and Killa have both turned into pussies this cycle. Benjamin is still sticking to the original plan, so he’s the one I’m following. That said, I’m not married to my bias. If we’re in late September or around October and we still haven’t dropped much - or we’ve gone even higher - I’ll admit I was wrong and buy higher. I’d be pretty surprised, though. If we’ve already bottomed, this might be the first cycle where retail and almost all of Crypto Twitter actually called the bottom… 🔥

If you want onchain volume and real runners to come back you should want a heavy bear market. There are WAY TOO MANY traders, devs, farmers and random projects right now. The space needs a boring period where most people leave. Less participants means less dilution fewer launches and liquidity becomes concentrated. That’s when the biggest runners appear. Even if market is in a bear. And when people return they pump them even higher. Same with the overall market. They’ll dump it until hope is gone then send it up. It’s part of the cycle. LFG 🔥

Ninety nine percent of CT and Telegram groups have been calling “this is the bottom” since Bitcoin was at 125k and ETH was at 5k. We’re sitting at 90k and sub 3k now and they’re still repeating the same lines. “Bottom is 89k dw” “Bottom is 2800 dw” No. There’s still lower to go. You know the people I hate the most? The ones that will never make it.
