There's that, and I can't change it. But I'm not going to deny and say it didn't hurt me.
I don't need to be the brightest thing in the room. I just need to be the most honest
📓 𓂃 Your past life record ● The curse you carried: In a past life, you were cursed to be the only one who noticed the brightness in others, and never have it noticed in return. You could see the spark in people that they couldn't see in themselves. You collected these bright moments like sunflowers turning toward the light. But when you looked in the mirror, all you saw was a field of gray. Your curse was not that you were invisible. It was that you saw everyone else so clearly, and yourself so poorly. ● The reason it followed you: Because once, you were a gardener who grew sunflowers for a village that had forgotten the sun. You planted seeds in soil everyone said was dead. You watered them when no one else believed. And when they bloomed, the village celebrated. They called them a miracle. But they never thanked you. They never saw the hands that had planted. Only the flowers. And when winter came, they blamed you for not keeping them alive. ● What finally broke it: The curse broke when you stopped waiting for someone else to see you. You realized your worth was not in the reflection of someone else's eyes. The spell shattered when you whispered: "I don't need to be the brightest thing in the room. I just need to be the most honest." And for the first time, you looked at yourself the way you looked at everyone else. And you saw a sunflower, still standing after the storm. ──────────── ● The character your soul became: Title: The Sunflower That Grew Through Concrete Symbol: A single sunflower blooming from a crack in the pavement, with a cat sleeping at its base, soft, resilient, and quietly revolutionary ● Personality: They notice things, when someone changes their perfume, when a friend is quiet in a way that means something. They collect these details and keep them safe. They're tired of performing productivity. They've realized that existence is enough. They write sentences that sound like poems, not because they're trying, but because that's how their brain works. They love cats, sunflowers, and the way light hits a room at sunset. They get frustrated with expectations they never asked for, with the way the world demands constant performance. ● Gift: They can see the humanity in people that others miss. They can look at someone and see not just what they are, but what they could be. ● Weakness: They exhaust themselves by caring too much. They give out pieces of themselves until there's nothing left, and wonder why they feel so empty. ● Appearance: Messy brown hair, soft tired eyes that still hold warmth. Oversized sweaters with cat prints or sunflowers. A tiny sunflower tattoo on their wrist, a cat-shaped keychain that jingles when they walk. ──────────── ● The truth about their curse: The curse was never that they noticed too much. It was believing that being noticed was the same as being valued. And the day they learned that they could bloom without an audience, they finally stopped turning toward the sun and started being their own.
