Interactive Discussion Activities 🔵Conversation Starters Use conversation prompt cards or apps like "TableTopics" to generate interesting discussion topics. 🟡"Would You Rather" Present participants with a series of dilemmas or choices, and they have to explain which option they would choose and why. This game encourages discussion and reasoning skills. 🟣"Picture Prompt" Show an interesting or intriguing image to the participants and ask them to discuss what they see, what they think is happening, or what story the image tells. This stimulates creativity and descriptive language. 🟠"Word Association" Start with a random word and have participants take turns saying a word that is associated with it. This game encourages quick thinking, vocabulary expansion, and making connections. 🟢"Debate Club" Divide participants into teams and assign them different positions on a controversial topic. Encourage them to present arguments and counterarguments, fostering critical thinking and persuasive speaking skills. 🔵"Story Chain" Begin a story with a few sentences and have each participant continue the story by adding a few more sentences. This collaborative storytelling game enhances creativity, narrative skills, and listening comprehension. 🟤"Speed Discussions" Set a timer for a short period (e.g., one minute) and have participants engage in rapid-fire discussions on a given topic. When the timer runs out, they switch partners, promoting quick thinking and concise expression. ELT ZONE 💛 https://t.me/Teachertrainingchannel

  • 🌱Why Your Energy — Not Your Method — Changes Your Class Ever noticed how the same lesson feels amazing one day and flat the next? It’s not your method — it’s the energy you bring in. Students read your mood faster than your instructions. When you walk in curious and awake, even a simple task feels exciting. When you walk in tired or tense, the best plan loses its spark. Your students are emotional mirrors — they match what they sense, not what you say. A calm, confident presence is more powerful than any activity. If you’re centered, they listen. If you’re alive, they engage. So before you fix your lesson plan, fix your state. 🪴 Your channel ☺️ https://t.me/Teachertrainingchannel
