THE QURAN

{ وَقَالُوا لَا تَذَرُنَّ آلِهَتَكُمْ وَلَا تَذَرُنَّ وَدًّا وَلَا سُوَاعًا وَلَا يَغُوثَ وَيَعُوقَ وَنَسْرًا } [سُورَةُ نُوحٍ: ٢٣] And said, 'Never leave your gods and never leave Wadd or Suwāʿ or Yaghūth and Yaʿūq and Nasr.' (1) (1): These were the names of specific idols named after pious men of earlier generations. @The_Quran_English_Translation

{ وَمَكَرُوا مَكْرًا كُبَّارًا } [سُورَةُ نُوحٍ: ٢٢] And they conspired an immense conspiracy @The_Quran_English_Translation

{ قَالَ نُوحٌ رَبِّ إِنَّهُمْ عَصَوْنِي وَاتَّبَعُوا مَنْ لَمْ يَزِدْهُ مَالُهُ وَوَلَدُهُ إِلَّا خَسَارًا } [سُورَةُ نُوحٍ: ٢١] Noah said, "My Lord, indeed they have disobeyed me and followed him whose wealth and children will not increase him except in loss. @The_Quran_English_Translation

{ لِتَسْلُكُوا مِنْهَا سُبُلًا فِجَاجًا } [سُورَةُ نُوحٍ: ٢٠] That you may follow therein roads of passage.'" @The_Quran_English_Translation

{ وَاللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْأَرْضَ بِسَاطًا } [سُورَةُ نُوحٍ: ١٩] And Allāh has made for you the earth an expanse @The_Quran_English_Translation
