  • MOHE SURVEY: STUDENT AI READINESS & LEARNING Assalamualaikum and Greetings, Postgraduate students of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) are invited to participate in a survey conducted by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) entitled Student AI Readiness & Learning. Purpose of the Study This study aims to identify gaps and needs within the partnership and innovation ecosystem involving MOHE, higher education institutions (HEIs), government agencies, industry and international partners, particularly in the areas of artificial intelligence (AI) research and innovation. Participation Participation is voluntary, and you may withdraw from the survey at any time without any consequences. Confidentiality All responses are anonymous and will be reported only in aggregate, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA). Estimated Completion Time Approximately 8–10 minutes. Your participation and feedback are greatly appreciated and will contribute to MOHE’s understanding of students’ readiness to use AI, particularly in learning and research.     REMINDER: APPLICATION FOR EXTENSION OF STUDY PERIOD With reference to the above matter. 1. According to Section 9 and 10, Universiti Putra Malaysia (Graduate Studies) Rules 2003 (Revision 2015-2016), the maximum duration of study of Doctoral Degree Programme is five (5) years (10 semesters) while for Master Degree Programme is three (3) years (6 semesters). A student who does not complete his/her study within the stipulated time will be terminated. However, he/she may apply for an extension to the Dean of SGS upon recommendation from his Supervisory Committee. 2. In this regard, please be reminded that if you are currently stipulated at the maximum period of your study, additional time to complete your study is required. Please complete and submit the Extension of Study Period Form (GS-13c) online through your student portal. Note: Please apply before 21 August 2026. Kindly disregard this email if you have already completed and submitted the form or have submitted your thesis, or have not yet reached the maximum period of study. Thank you.
