  • After a long pause, I'm restarting UPSCGyaanBites. As a UPSC aspirant myself, I've realized that preparation becomes much more meaningful when learning is shared. UPSCGyaanBites is my small effort to build a community of like-minded aspirants who want to learn, think, discuss, and grow together. The community will primarily operate on WhatsApp and will serve as a space for: • Important PDFs and study resources • Previous year question papers • Preparation strategies and study plans • Current affairs discussions • Thought-provoking ideas and debates • Peer learning and mutual support Whether you're actively preparing for UPSC or simply planning to start your journey in the future, you're welcome to join. I've created a New WhatsApp Channel for now you can join here - https://lnkd.in/gdJg3FGH. I'll start posting archives very soon. Let's build a community where we not only prepare for an exam but also develop the habit of thinking critically and understanding the world around us.

  • Union ministry stated that literacy means “to identify, understand, interpret and create, along with critical life skills” What do you understand by this? And do you think if this definition is correct or not ? What should be the correct and clear definition of LITERACY according to you?

  • One of my favorite Philosophers Emerson. In his writing "Self-Reliance" says that "What I must do … not what the people think … may serve [as the rule] for the whole difference between greatness and meanness.” Later he adds that “we have not chosen [our occupations] but society has chosen for us.” If the problem is that society has chosen our occupations for us, then the remedy would seem to be for us to choose for ourselves. But that’s not quite right, because the choice of an occupation – or rather, a vocation or calling – is importantly different from the ordinary exercise of free will.

  • How the chief justice is handling this matter is very appreciating. At the same time the CJI gives hope to the public everytime that : there is law in this country, you should not worry, but its guardians break the hopes of the common people everyday by not fulfilling their responsibilities.

  • Some British officials feared that the chapatis were a covert means of communication, signalling an impending rebellion or a call to arms among the Indian populace. Others speculated that it was a form of protest or a way to unite people against the colonial…

  • The simplicity and the widespread nature of this distribution puzzled British officials, who were unable to trace its source or understand its purpose.

  • Chapati distribution produced plenty of theories but few facts.

  • Have anyone heard about Chapati Movement ? What was that ?
