Today we stand shoulder to shoulder with our indispensable partner @Israel, rejoicing with our Israeli brothers and sisters on 78 years of independence.

America joins the people of @Israel in observing Yom HaZikaron — Israel’s Memorial Day — and in honoring the fallen soldiers and victims of terrorism who have given their lives in defense of the Jewish State. May their memories forever be a blessing.

It was a pleasure spending time at @AIAResearch in Jerusalem honoring American and Israeli contributions to archaeology in the region. What a pleasure it was to meet with Michael Kleiner and Sharon Levy-Balanga from Special Olympics Israel to discuss empowering athletes with intellectual disabilities to excel both on and off the field. Proud that the United States and the American people are such strong supporters of this effort!

Today I attended #IMTM, the International Tourism Exhibition in Tel Aviv, to strengthen the tourism bonds between our two countries. I am confident that @POTUS peace deal will encourage people to visit and experience this great land.

Forget that Groundhog in PA! My 2 dogs Gumbo and Bandit were too lazy to look for their shadow in Jerusalem this morning so we are about done with winter! Was 73 F yesterday anyway.

In honor of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, I sent a personal note to cyclist Lukáš Klement to support his mission to create the world’s largest “NEVER AGAIN” through his cycling route. Departing from the gates of Auschwitz, Lukáš spent 47 hours on his bike, riding nearly 1,000 kilometers in harsh winter conditions, including sub-zero temperatures, to form this powerful message.  I invite you to watch the video and join me in remembering and honoring the 6 million Jews who were murdered in the Holocaust.  @ZakaOrg @feauturer

Great discussions today with @AmbAlKhaja. UAE is a real leader and I admire their commitment to strengthening the Abraham Accords and making the region more prosperous and stable.

Great meeting with Head of Misson Beyyoudh today and continuing our discussions on the Abraham Accords. The U.S. is committed to building on the success of these agreements and we look forward to working further with @MoroccoinIsrael.

It was a pleasure meeting today with Ambassador Yemberdiyev for the first time and discussing how Kazakhstan’s historic new membership in the Abraham Accords can help build a different future for the region and beyond. The U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem looks forward to continuing our collaboration with @kazakhemb_il to advance @realDonaldTrump’s vital peace efforts.

Today I visited @VolcaniInstitute and met with Minister Avi Dichter and Director Prof. Benny Chefetz to see—and taste—the latest in Israeli agricultural research.
