🚨 Important Changes to Indian Stock Market Trading from 3 August 2026 🔁 Bookmark and Share it Here are the 3 key changes every investor and trader should know: 1️⃣ Non-F&O Stocks 🕘 Trading Hours: 9:15 AM – 3:30 PM ✅ No change. 2️⃣ Cash Market for F&O Stocks 🕘 Regular Trading: 9:15 AM – 3:15 PM 🕒 3:15 PM – 3:35 PM: Closing Auction Session (CAS) After 3:15 PM, normal buying & selling will stop. Only the Closing Auction Session will determine the official closing price. 📌 What happens during CAS? 3:15 – 3:20 PM • Transition phase • No new orders • Stop-loss & Iceberg orders cancelled 3:20 – 3:25 PM • Order Entry • Market & Limit orders can be placed, modified or cancelled • No execution yet 3:25 – ~3:30 PM • Only Limit orders can be modified/cancelled • Market orders get locked 3:30 – 3:35 PM • Order Matching • A single official closing price is determined 3️⃣ Stock & Index F&O 🕘 Trading Hours extended to 3:40 PM ✅ Traders get an extra 10 minutes for hedging and position management.
