Someone on YouTube found it crazy when I said profitable trading is built from a genuine need to profit. I'm a living example. When you hit this, your DGAF meter will be off the charts. hundreds of emails a month from brands trying to get promotion, ignored. Don't need the cash or the clout. Would rather be low key. First thing in the morning, think I glue my ass to a chair and look at the markets? Dead wrong. If I do, there's a reason behind it. I've psyopped myself into showing up ONLY when I can bring my best game. Until then, I don't trade. Can't afford to lose. If I don't need the money I don't trade, simple as that. Instead I do what my heart desires. Play guitar all day, work on my other YT channel. I may not trade for 4 days, better things to do. I trade when I need to, and only then. Until that moment, I monitor the markets somewhat passively and do not enter until I see clarity. There's easier trades. I can earn roughly 9% passively on cash through lending pool arbitrage, but that's a different topic. When I come in and trade, I crush it most of the time. Bad days are inevitable. I've been humbled too many times by the market. I do fear the market, at the same time, I have utmost confidence and conviction behind the trades I do take. Enough conviction that I will ride them to the bitter end if I have to, or I'll cut them before thing get messy because I am sane enough to admit when something is not working and I need to reposition. When you need to win, you stay out of trouble. This is the fundamental reason why this works. You simply cannot afford to lose.

My money was frozen with zero warning. No explanation. Just blocked. Here's what Coinbase did to my account — and why it's happening to more investors than you think. A viewer on YouTube asked what we're using to run Interactive Brokers software for trading and this is the reply. See the attached image. This is the software I use to run IB gateway in a docker container on Linux: https://github.com/heshiming/ibga. I have found this so far to be very fast because it logs you in immediately and there is no longer a need to open up the software and type in your user name and password every time which is a headache. all that is necessary is to accept the two factor authentication prompt on your mobile device. Another reason why this is convenient as because I use a tiling window manager. When IB Gateway is run using this method there is no window. The way you access it is through a browser on localhost IP. You can set it up so this docker container runs as soon as your system turns on, I start it through a command.

The sad truth about social media is that you can't speak the truth and expect it to get out there because algorithms are curated to promote content that people respond to. I find it crazy how a video about some chick trader I made in 20 minutes gets more engagement than tutorials I spent hours planning and editing. This is what the internet has turned us into, a generation of dopamine hungry zombies. P.S I don't mean you personally, speaking generally. I know you who is reading this is driven to become at least 1% better every day. A video about drama will get more engagement than a video sharing actionable insight or someone actually making money in front of you live. Remember that early investors in Apple stock were ridiculed, it will always be this way. So were TSLA bulls in 2019. If you see an opportunity you need to execute on it. If people ridicule you for it, double down. You only know what you know. -VT
