A cautionary tale from 2006: 142 people were told they had whooping cough based on PCR testing. Thousands took antibiotics & vaccines for "protection." ​But it was all a false alarm. A baby born to a HIV+ mother was initially diagnosed HIV+, but 13 months later, he tested negative. 50% of babies born to HIV+ mothers initially test positive, then “seroconvert” to negative. So much for a positive test being an infallible declaration of "infection."
