"You’re not upholding the founders’ original intent, though. You’re applying a modern moral framework to their words & then treating that reinterpretation as if it were their actual vision(& you don't support their original vision. You support some new version). When Jefferson wrote “all men are created equal,” he was speaking within the political context of the Enlightenment — arguments against monarchy, hereditary rule, & aristocracy — not advocating for modern racial egalitarianism. The founders did NOT articulate a vision of America as a global melting pot. That idea emerged much later(from a zionist jew friends with the creator of zionism). So what you’re supporting is not the founders’ vision, but a contemporary reinterpretation of it. Our founders were very clear that America was to be a melting pot of Europeans.
