Tucked inside California’s medical licensing requirements is a law that forces physicians to complete continuing medical education (CME) courses teaching that “implicit bias” — unconscious racism — is a major driver of healthcare disparities. Doctors who refuse to complete the courses lose their CME credits, which are required to renew their medical licenses. This is a state government compelling licensed professionals to endorse DEI ideology as a condition of practicing their profession.
