متى يكون ترك مجالس الرواية أولى؟ ⦿ إذا رأيتَ أن حضورك مجالسَ الرواية صار سببًا لوقوعك في غيبة إخوانك، فالأولى أن تتركها. ⦿ وإذا رأيتَ أنك تكثر من الجدل والخصومات، ويغلب عليك حب الانتصار للنفس أكثر من طلب الحق، فالأولى أن تتركها. ⦿ وإذا وجدتَ في قلبك سوء ظنٍ بإخوانك، أو أصبحت تتتبع زلاتهم وعثراتهم، فالأولى أن تتركها. ⦿ وإذا رأيتَ أن تلك المجالس أورثتك بغضًا أو شحناء أو عداوة لإخوانك، أو حملتك على التقليل من شأنهم وازدرائهم، فالأولى أن تتركها. ⦿ وإذا رأيتَ أنك أصبحت تفرح بخطأ غيرك، أو تحزن لثناء الناس عليه، فالأولى أن تتركها. ⦿ وإذا وجدتَ أن همَّك صار معرفة أخبار الناس وأخطائهم، أكثر من معرفة الحق والعمل به، فالأولى أن تتركها. ⦿ وإذا رأيتَ أن قلبك قسا، ولسانك أطلق في الناس، وقلَّ انتفاعك بالعلم، فالأولى أن تتركها. ⦿ وإذا وجدتَ أنك تخرج من المجلس وقد ازددتَ كِبرًا أو عُجبًا بنفسك، أو احتقارًا لغيرك، فالأولى أن تتركها. ⦿ وإذا رأيتَ أن حضورها يشغلك عن إصلاح نفسك، ويصرفك عن العبادة، ويورثك قلة الخشوع، فالأولى أن تتركها. فكل مجلسٍ يفسد القلب، أو يطلق اللسان فيما لا يرضي الله، أو يقطع أواصر الأخوة، أو يحجب العبد عن إصلاح نفسه، فسلامة الدين والقلب أولى من حضوره.

The Jalsah is a monthly gathering initially established by Imam al-Ḥaddād in Tarim over three centuries ago and held on the last Tuesday of every Hijri month. The work shall be reviewed by our son Aḥmad ʿUmar al-Kāf. May Allah bless them all. Abū Bakr al-ʿAdanī ibn ʿAlī al-Mashhūr 3 Jumādā al-Ākhirah 1441 AH I ask Allah to continue facilitating for him the service and dissemination of sacred knowledge, and to accept it from him. I also ask Allah to decree that the translator, the people of Singapore, and all of us be among the People of Safety in this world and the Hereafter: that we neither stain our hands with blood nor our tongues with condemnation, so that we may remain safe and be counted among the successful—or, as they are called in English, the “winners”. We seek refuge in Allah from being among the unsuccessful—the “losers”. I also advise everyone engaged in translation to read the author’s introduction to the English translation of al-Nubdhah al-Ṣughrā. In it, he emphasised the importance of preserving Arabic terms by writing them in Latin characters rather than translating them literally. He discussed this matter at length and provided numerous examples. Allah knows best. May Allah’s blessings and peace be upon our master Muḥammad, his family, and his Companions. - Ah‌mad ʿUmar al-Kāf تقريظ بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم الحمدلله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله سيدنا محمد وآله وصحبه ومن والاه وبعد، فقد جمعتني بالمترجم الأستاذ حمدان معرفةٌ منذ مشاركته في دورةٍ باللغة الإنجليزية على كتاب «النبذة الصغرى» عن بُعد عام ١٤٣٤هـ/٢٠١٣م، ثم تجدد اللقاء في دورة فقه التحولات التي أقامها مؤلف الكتاب، الحبيب أبو بكر العدني ابن علي المشهور، في سنغافورة عام ١٤٣٦ه. وكان المترجم من الطلاب النجباء ، وقد بدأ مسيرة الترجمة مع الفقير منذ تلك الايام وكان يحرص على دقة المعنى وسلامة اللفظ ويكرمني بالنقاشات المفيدة، فكان أن ترجم : ١. دليل المريد السالك و مرجعية الصوفي الناسك - Guide for the Wayfaring Aspirant and Reference for the Accomplished Sufi 2. المنظومة النسوية - Her Compass: A Poetic Counsel For Women Navigating the End Times ٣. منظومة فيض اللطيف في التعريف الشريف - The Subtle Outpouring in the Gathering of Ta'rīf ٤ المنظومة الدرية في ذكر الغزوة البدرية - Al-Manẓūmah Al-Durriyah In Commemoration of the Battle Badr A poetic narration of the events surrounding the Battle of Badr هذا التفرغ للخدمة بالترجمة الذي سخره الله له في خدمة مؤلفات فقه التحولات والاكباب توج الان بترجمة اوسع مصادره (الأسس والمنطلقات - The Foundations and Points of Departure ) هذا الجهد لا شك ثمرة من ثمار نيات المؤلف عندما زار سنغافورة ، سنغافورة مسقط رأس آل الكاف أسرتي ، التي قال فيها المؤلف ضمن قصيدة (السفر إلى ما وراء البحار المعمورة سريلانكا - كيرلا الهند - ماليزيا - اندونيسيا - سنقفورة) ٤ رجب - ٢١ شعبان ١٤٣٦ هـ : : ونوح حبشي دركها والدار عنده ملكها وسنغافورة حسينة والخل الله يعينه في سنغفورة وصلنا زرنا الحبايب وقلنا في كم مجالس ضنينة والخل الله يعينه فانظر إلى مدحه لعلم من أعلامها وهو الحبيب نوح الحبشي ، وذكره للمجالس الطيبة فيها ، ومن ضمن هذه المجالس المباركة كانت الدورة لطبعة خاصة من كتاب (نبذة النبذة) سماها المؤلف (الدورة الاستثنائية لطلائع جيل السلامة - سنغافورة) ١٤٣٦ هـ - ٢٠١٥ م. ولا شك أن المترجم من طليعة هذا الجيل.. جيل السلامة. ومضت مسيرة الترجمة ، حتى إن المؤلف دعا له بدعوات مباركات في تقديمه لترجمة قيد العمل لأحد كتب (سلسلة أعلام حضرموت) : الشيخة سلطانة الزبيدية.. رابعة حضرموت - Shaikhah Sulṭānah The Rabī'ah of Haḍramaut ، حيث كتب تعضيدا لها بتاريخ ٣ / ٦ / ١٤٤١ هـ فيما نصه: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم أسأل الله التوفيق والعون للأخ المبارك محمد حمدان في اهتماماته بالترجمة وخاصة ترجمة الشيخة سلطانة بنت علي الزبيدية الى اللغة الانجليزية . ونشكره على ما فعل وندعو له بالبركة وأن يتسع له الوقت لترجمة المنظومة التي خصصناها لها ثم بقية المنظومات . وكتبنا له هذا التعضيد كإذنٍ منا وموافقةٍ على ما يرغب في القيام به من ترجمة المنظومات الشعرية والكتب النثرية ، وتكون مراجعة العمل بواسطة الولد أحمد عمر الكاف ، وبارك الله في الجميع . أبوبكر العدني ابن علي المشهور ٣ جمادى الثاني ١٤٤١ هذا والله أسأل أن يديم له تيسير خدمة العلم ونشره ، وأن يتقبل منه ، وأن يكتب للمترجم ولأهل سنغافورة ولنا أن نكون جميعا مع أهل السلامة في الدنيا والآخرة ، فلا نلوث أيدينا بالدم ، ولا ألسنتنا بالذم، فنسلم ونكون مع الفائزين ، أو كما يسمونهم بالانجليزية winners ونعوذ بالله أن نكون من الخاسرين losers

#جديد الترجمات ترجمة الاسس والمنطلقات الى اللغة الانجليزية new translation to english *Commendatory Foreword* In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful All praise belongs to Allah, and may blessings and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah, our master Muḥammad, his family, his Companions, and all those who follow and support him. To proceed: My acquaintance with the translator, Ustaz Hamdan, began when he participated in an online English-language course on al-Nubdhah al-Ṣughrā in 1434 AH/2013 CE. We later met again during the course on Fiqh al-Taḥawwulāt conducted in Singapore in 1436 AH/2015 CE by the author of this book, al-Ḥabīb Abū Bakr al-ʿAdanī ibn ʿAlī al-Mashhūr. The translator was among the outstanding students. From those early days, he embarked upon his journey of translation together with this humble servant. He was consistently attentive to accuracy of meaning and soundness of expression, and he honoured me by engaging in beneficial discussions. Among the works he subsequently translated are: Dalīl al-Murīd al-Sālik wa Marjiʿiyyat al-Ṣūfī al-Nāsik — Guide for the Wayfaring Aspirant and Reference for the Accomplished Sufi al-Manẓūmah al-Niswiyyah — Her Compass: A Poetic Counsel for Women Navigating the End Times Manẓūmat Fayḍ al-Laṭīf fī al-Taʿrīf al-Sharīf — The Subtle Outpouring in the Gathering of Taʿrīf al-Manẓūmah al-Durriyyah fī Dhikr al-Ghazwah al-Badriyyah — Al-Manẓūmah al-Durriyyah: In Commemoration of the Battle of Badr, a poetic narration of the events surrounding the Battle of Badr. This dedication to serving through translation, which Allah has facilitated for him in the service of the writings of Fiqh al-Taḥawwulāt, together with his sustained devotion to their study, has now culminated in his translation of its most extensive foundational source: al-Usus wa al-Munṭalaqāt — The Foundations and Points of Departure. There can be no doubt that this endeavour is among the fruits of the author’s intentions and aspirations when he visited Singapore—the birthplace of my family, the al-Kāf family. In a poem composed during his journey entitled Travelling Beyond the Inhabited Seas: Sri Lanka, Kerala in India, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore, undertaken from 4 Rajab to 21 Shaʿbān 1436 AH, the author said: And Nuh Habashi is its rescuer, And the house is under his guardianship. And Singapore is beautiful, May Allah assist the beloved. In Singapore we arrived, We visited the beloveds and said: In how many precious, intimate gatherings [we sat], May Allah assist the beloved. Observe how he praised one of Singapore’s eminent spiritual figures, al-Ḥabīb Nūḥ al-Ḥabashī, and mentioned the blessed gatherings held there. Among those auspicious gatherings was a course based upon a special edition of the book Nubdhat al-Nubdhah, which the author entitled: The Exceptional Course for the Vanguard of the Generation of Safety — Singapore, 1436 AH/2015 CE. There is no doubt that the translator is among the vanguard of this generation—the Generation of Safety. His journey of translation continued until the author himself offered blessed prayers for him in a commendation written for an ongoing translation of one of the books in the Luminaries of Ḥaḍramawt series: al-Shaykhah Sulṭānah al-Zabīdiyyah: Rābiʿat Ḥaḍramawt — Shaykhah Sulṭānah: The Rābiʿah of Ḥaḍramawt. In his written endorsement dated 3 Jumādā al-Ākhirah 1441 AH, the author stated: In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful I ask Allah to grant success and assistance to our blessed brother Muḥammad Hamdan in his translation endeavours, particularly his translation into English of the life of Shaykhah Sulṭānah bint ʿAlī al-Zabīdiyyah. We thank him for what he has accomplished, pray that he be blessed, and ask Allah to grant him sufficient time to translate the poetic composition that we dedicated to her, followed by the remaining poetic works. We have written this endorsement as our permission and approval for what he wishes to undertake in translating both poetic compositions and prose works.
