Rep. Al Green: "I Don't Define People as Illegals." Following the Supreme Court's birthright citizenship ruling, LindellTV's @alisonintheknow asked @RepAlGreen (D-Texas) whether he was concerned that children born in the U.S. to undocumented immigrants automatically receive American citizenship. Green defended the Court's decision, calling it an important constitutional safeguard. "l'm relieved.. The fight will continue until liberty and justice for all applies to : all in this country." When asked about concerns over illegal immigration and birthright citizenship, Green rejected the premise of the question. "I don't define people as illegals. Once you say that a person is an illegal, you now give people a license to do things that are dastardly!"

"Criminals Don't Care About Gun-Free Zone Signs." Gun Owners of America, Stephen Willeford, reacted to the Supreme Court's latest Second Amendment rulings, arguing that gun-free zones only leave law-abiding Americans vulnerable. "If you decide that I cannot defend myself on your property, you should be financially responsible for making sure that I am safe on your property." Willeford said businesses have every right to prohibit firearms - but they should also bear responsibility for the safety of those they disarm. He also warned that criminals aren't deterred by posted signs. "Criminals don't care about your gun laws... that's what they're looking for is gun-free zones.!" Discussing the Supreme Court's recent Second Amendment decisions, Willeford called them victories for constitutional rights. "It's not expanding our rights. It is reclaiming our rights."
