To all the people out there constantly moaning that everything’s dragging on forever and throwing shade at influencers that were enabled by you to be where they are. If you’re just sitting on your asses, endlessly scrolling through their content, soaking it all in, but not lifting a finger to do anything yourself. You are part of the problem. And then, on the rare occasion you actually try something, you expect the whole world to roll out the red carpet and cheer for you like they do for those influencers you love to hate. You are part of the problem. If you are messing with and trying to destroy efforts to bring people together. You are part of the problem. Cut the crap. Stop messing with the people who are out there, putting in the work, and making things happen. Either shut up and let the people who know how to collaborate and get shit done take the reins, or better yet, get off the sidelines off your ass and into the game. Start small if you have to—read an article, learn something new, share it with your friends, show you’re not just a bystander who’s checked out. Let others see you are proactive and can manager yourselves. Prove you actually care about what’s going on. The world’s a mess, and bitching about it and tearing others down doesn’t fix a damn thing. Enabling others to destroy things for you and you say nothing or do nothing, you are part of the problem. Quit trying to tear everyone and everything down just because you’re bored or bitter. Focus on building yourself up—grow some skills, get some guts, find some purpose. Then turn around and lift others up too. Help them find their footing, their voice, their drive. That’s how you start fixing this broken world—one step, one person at a time. Start with yourself.
