From winery to summer home: Rai Pinto Studio’s project in Catalonia Rai Pinto Studio has transformed a 10th-century winery into a compact, loft-style house. The building, now managed by a family dedicated to winemaking since 1989, retains its original structure, preserved with deliberate care. The designers chose to keep the layout largely as-is, allocating spaces for a kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. A separate pergola offers a shaded spot for summer evenings. A bold red dominates the interior, standing out vividly against white walls. Inspired by the color of the family’s own wine, it serves as both a visual and symbolic centerpiece.
