I still can hear your gentle voice, Giving me help and standing tall. You taught me how to be so brave, And how to rise up when I fall. Sometimes I look up at the moon, And know you see that same bright light. It makes me feel so close to you, Even across the longest night. Thank you for all the things you do, To keep us safe and make us smile. I wish that I could hug you now, And sit and talk with you a while. In class, the beautiful butterfly Would sir watching mr.x , it made her heart flutter Like a secret sin, she grew addicted to him Hoping every time she looked There will come a day where he looked at her too Then looks grew to conversation and longing He started to take her on dates, a show for people to see. His smile a little crooked ,but just for her . His words sweet as honey, the beautiful butterfly felt joy in her longinv heart But soon, as myth says old habits die hard. His words that were laced with honey, now were layered with malice. His eyes that used to look at her only, now wondered around. The promise that he made of forever , didnt last for long. And slowly but surely he started to pull away. He walked right past like he didnt see. As if she had become a ghost. A story that used to be told The beautiful butterfly, felt a heavy sting in her heart. And all the optimistic paradox in her started to tear her apart. And then there was silence .....quiet ..empty .....sad Her heart felt like it was being ripped out But life doesnt stop along with her heart So she moved on She spoke, she laughed ,she smiled Perfecting the act of being ok When he looked at her with cold eyes He made her feel like the passing breeze of winter Never too important Never enough Like she was a ghost Haunting a place she used to call home It is me birabiro🦋💫
