Lots of students always ask me, what is the best way for me to show to American universities that I am ready to be academically challenged. There are so many ways by which you can show that you are cracked. Great examples would be 1500+ SAT, 34+ ACT, multiple APs, if you are lucky (or rich) you also could do A levels. However, the best possible way to do is via showing that you survived the most academically challenging curriculum for high schoolers: IB. Now, there are multiple IB schools even here in Uzbekistan. Yet, if you hear their prices, you would just feel ashamed to even ask your parents to pay for those enormous fees. So what to do? Apply to UWC. UWC is an outstanding program which is not just going to provide you with IB courses, but also will help you to demonstrate to top unis that you were selected among thousands of students, let alone lived abroad alone and fostered your independence. For the last 3 years now, I’ve been involved in UWC myself. For the very last selection process which ended this spring, 3 out of 5 “winners” (also known as nominees) were my students. This made me think if I could possibly outperform my last year’s results this year, and I decided to challenge myself. I will be selecting the most ambitious students from Uzbekistan and prepare them to become the finalists of UWC. If you want to be one them, send your CV to @Boburjon_work. I will select specific amount of students for the interview stage, followed up by selecting 10 students to prepare overall. The last day to send your CV is going to be August 16. Hurry up! P.S, you have to be 16-17 in order to apply, so take this into consideration.
P.S I’m super sorry for everyone if I couldn’t respond to ur dms. Genuinely, this week has been overly exhausting, busy, and internetless (If this word exists). Tmrw, I have some exciting news for high schoolers, stay tuned!
Top 100 uni camp was an absolute banger experience. Everything was just off charts. The org team was quite professional and did everything perfectly, making not only the entire atmosphere united, but also coming up with great events even for mentors. The participants were also cracked. I’ve been in so many different camps, but it was the first time I was genuinely impressed and even jealous of students, which made me think how much would I want to go back in time to achieve even more. And finally, mentors squad…omg. Not only the absolute beasts from the best unis, but also extremely interesting individuals. We shared a lot of good moments together, made tons of memories, and hopefully, will make even more abroad. Personally, I also had a lot of fun, losing my voice during the quizzes, being thrown away (literally) during the disco, being nearly drown bcz of my students uniting and going 10 vs 1 for all the bullying, and so many more. Everyone, make sure to apply next year! It will be truly unforgettable!
Also, a bit of food for thoughts and, maybe, call for an action. With each year, getting the direct approval is getting more and more complicated. Administrative review existed for a quite long time now, but these days, it has become unbearable. It is taking well over a month (nearly for everyone). The most frustrating part is that this is only happening in Uzbekistan (at least that I know of). My friends from different countries (like Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Brazil etc.) are saying they also had APs, but just for one day. This means, Uzbeks in the US are doing something wrong. So please, if you are lucky enough to get your visa, please do think about your actions in the US and about others who are yet to get it. Don’t over complicate what is already difficult).
Another one coming! Interview Prep for f-1 is paying off! P.S wait, for the photo of the lucky guy w his visa 😃

Conor did what 🤡
@kamoliddin_yaxshilikov is the goat of tennis. I played him both in the U.S and in Uzbekistan and got beaten up twice. He is an incredible player with unlimited potential! Even Nadal would lose to him. P.S I was forced to write this. He barely won).
Messi is the goat😭
Does anyone have strong connections with top private high schools in the regions? I’m looking to connect with the top 10 private high schools outside Tashkent, as well as leading schools in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. If you can introduce me directly to school founders, principals, or decision-makers, please DM me. I’m happy to pay for qualified referrals that lead to the right connections. Really appreciate any help 🤝💜 @asilbek_work

🇵🇹 or 🇪🇸?
11 goals in 3 games… someone gotta explain to Uzb team that we are supposed to score, not concede, in order to win. P.S from the starting point, I didn’t like the fact that we appointed Cannavaro. Most likely we did it for the sake of hype. It was a horrible decision that cost us not the World Cup (we wouldn’t win anyways) but emotions. Arguably for the first time ever so many Uzbeks decided to wake up at 4:30 to support the team that would not qualify even if we won. However, our team couldn’t even play well, let alone win or draw. Second half was just as horrible as it could possibly be. Still, I’m hopeful for a brighter future…. Maybe next World Cup?
God bless ref
