When I first founded Crypto Club, my expected number of members ranged from 1 (just me) to 2 (my Vice President). So when I was told that over 40 students had registered—and that I had to cut around 20—you can imagine my reaction. But throughout these two months, I’ve met an energetic, fun, and “codey” vibes team, which is so hard to find. We’ve planned events, formed a research team, and come up with ideas together. Most of the members are sophomores and freshmen, so it’s good to know I have people I can rely on even after giving up my position. I love each and every one of them and appreciate the unique skills they bring to the table. Even though I’m still a bit scared that some might not stick around in the second trimester, I’m grateful for the team we’ve built so far.

I forgot to tell you guys—I was part of the Africa Celebrates Community-Based Education Movement in early November. It was an incredible experience. I was the moderator for the first panel. Actually listening to students my age who researched a problem and took action was… advantageous, to say the least. Hearing their points of view, the struggles they had to overcome, and more helped me realize a lot about my surroundings. Let me get deeper into the updates on the startup. The startup kind of failed and succeeded at the same time. The plan to form a development team didn’t go as well as expected. Even though we’re still backed by EAII Startup Center, it turned into just me, even though I really wanted a team. That kind of slowed down progress. Because of the curriculum change at our school and everything else, I really couldn’t focus on it, so I understand where I went wrong. The idea, after hours and hours of thinking, didn’t fit my skill set, and I felt a change of heart. So now I’m trying to map out everything I’m planning for the startup—especially with the help of the other startup founders. They’ve been guiding me and helping me in so many ways.

I've been inactive lately, I'll admit. With a heartfelt apology, let me catch you up on my life. I'm a Grade 11 (Year 12) student at Lebawi International Academy, and I'm part of the EAII Startup Center. From idea to launch, let's gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
