Hi! We’ve just fixed a bug where the board would freeze and you couldn’t make a move. If you run into this issue again, please let us know. And the same if you notice any other problems with the board.

♟ ChessNode Update In the latest version, we improved the arrow and marker system and fixed the display of captured pieces. 1. New arrow and marker system 💻 On desktop, you can now use the familiar right-click controls, just like on Lichess. There is no longer any need to enable or disable arrow mode manually: — hold the right mouse button and drag across the board to draw an arrow; — right-click a square to place a marker; — change the colors of arrows and markers using Shift, Alt, or Shift + Alt. 📱 On mobile, arrow mode can be enabled or disabled using the button in the top-left corner. When arrow mode is enabled, double-tap a square to place a marker. 2. Captured pieces counter fixed 🛠 We fixed an issue that caused the number of captured pieces to be displayed incorrectly. ♟ Major Chess Platform Update We have added new gameplay features, expanded the chess puzzle system, introduced notifications, and updated the design. Here is a detailed overview. ⚔️ Challenge Mode — Play with Friends You can now create games and share invitation links with other players. In Challenge Mode, you can: * create public and private games; * specify the desired ELO of your opponent; * play friendly games without rewards; * create challenges with rewards. ❕ The results of games played in this mode do not affect the players’ ELO. 🛡 Anti-Fraud System in Challenges To protect players from unfair play, part of the reward is placed on hold for 3 days after a victory. If the winner is reported during this period and the review confirms the use of prohibited methods, their opponent will automatically receive a refund of the challenge reward. There is no need to create support tickets or have lengthy conversations with the support team. Simply submit a report, and the system will handle everything else automatically. 🧩 Chess Puzzles We have added even more varied chess puzzles, as well as the ability to filter them: * by theme; * by difficulty level. We have also added a statistics panel and 95 different achievements to make solving puzzles even more engaging. In the future, we plan to add a separate leaderboard for chess puzzles. 🪙 Multi-Token System The platform now supports rewards in different tokens, not only the project’s native token. We will explain how the multi-token system works in more detail in one of the upcoming updates. 🔔 Notification System A new notifications page is now available to players. It will display: * balance changes; * reward credits; * security notifications; * submitted reports; * report review results; * other system messages. In the “Settings” section, users can choose which notifications they want to receive. 🎨 Design Update We have made several visual changes to make the platform more pleasant, clear, and convenient to use. 🧪 Update Testing The main task for users at this stage is to test the new functionality and provide feedback about any errors or issues they discover. Once the testing phase is complete, token deposits and withdrawals will be enabled. 🏆 What’s Coming Next?
