If you never allow yourself to be a beginner, you’ll also never stop being one.

your relationship with yourself cannot be built entirely around improvement. at some point, you have to become someone you are allowed to enjoy being. you get to be proud of who you are. present tense

Maybe the goal is not to become unbothered. Maybe the goal is to become grounded enough to feel things without being ruled by them.

if you call yourself self aware but you are only aware of your faults and never acknowledge your strengths you have self hatred not self awareness

the thing about being kind is that some people start being kind after experiencing how nice it feels to be treated with kindness & when you know how nice it feels, you want others to feel the same way. so, be kind in the same way you want your surrounding filled with kindness.

The older you get, the more you realise how rare it is to find people who simply want your company. Not what you can do for them. Just you. The ones who are happy with a coffee or simply talking about life. Just genuine comfort in each other's presence. treasure such people.

Some people in your life have never seen you at full capacity. They met you in a hard season, a transitional moment, a version of you still being built. Don't let their limited experience of you become your ceiling. You are more than the chapter they witnessed.
