Too many Muslims today have forsaken this obligation, often because it’s a topic ignored by many Western speakers. But Allah commands us: “And if they seek help of you for the religion, then you must help…” — [Surah Al-Anfal: 72] Imam Ibn Taymiyyah (رحمه الله) said: “Freeing the prisoner is one of the greatest obligations, and spending wealth for this purpose is one of the best forms of drawing closer to Allah.” Let us not betray this duty. Our sisters and brothers behind bars depend on us to advocate for them. Stay tuned for this critical reminder—it’s time to revive this forgotten right.

Certainly, with the removal of Bashar, a coolness sweeps over our hearts, and we hope and yearn in Allah, that He Gives Tamkeen in the land, only to those who will implement the Shari’ah of Allah in its totality — not in portions, not slowly, not by democracy (which is all Kufr) — but completely and fully, not fearing the blame of the blamers. With that, we make Duā that similar Tamkeen is given in the Lands of the Haramayn and beyond into Bayt Al Maqdis, Egypt, Jordan, and the rest of Muslim Lands — and that the Tawagheet at large, especially the Taghūt MBS and the Mushrikeen from Āli Salūl share the same fate and humiliating end of Bashar and the Mushrikeen from his family. All these Munafiqeen trying to claim some sort of victory with the removal of Bashar, as if they weren’t calling anyone who “protested” him and wanted to get rid of him, a “Khāriji” like 3 weeks ago. Typical traits of the hypocrites, قاتلهم الله. Allah سبحانه وتعالى Says: ‎وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يَقُولُ ءَامَنَّا بِٱللَّهِ فَإِذَآ أُوذِىَ فِى ٱللَّهِ جَعَلَ فِتۡنَةَ ٱلنَّاسِ كَعَذَابِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَئِن جَآءَ نَصۡرٌ مِّن رَّبِّكَ لَيَقُولُنَّ إِنَّا كُنَّا مَعَكُمْۚ أَوَلَيۡسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَعۡلَمَ بِمَا فِى صُدُورِ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ Of mankind are some who say: "We believe in Allâh." But if they are made to suffer for the sake of Allâh, they consider the trial of mankind as Allâh’s punishment; and if victory comes from your Lord, (the hypocrites) will say: "Verily we were with you (helping you)." Is not Allâh Best Aware of what is in the breasts of the ‘Âlamîn (mankind and jinn).

Sednaya Prison, also known as the “Human Slaughterhouse”. Prisoners who spent years in dark cells, cut off from the world, tortured to the point of forgetting even their own names. Women imprisoned at a young age, subjected to systematic rape, and left not know who fathered their children. Innocent civilians who were tortured, killed, and then had their bodies crushed by press machines, reduced to what could only be described as small boxes. And countless other atrocities I cannot even begin to enumerate. The eyes also wish to see the liberation of the forgotten prisons in Northern Syria, including al-Hol and al-Roj camps which has over 60,000 women and children imprisoned by the SDF and PKK. May Allah hasten the release of all muslim prisoners and may Allah heal the tortured prisoners. No doubt, it brings joy to the heart seeing Muslims being freed.

Revive the Sunnah It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to fast on Mondays and Thursdays. It was said: “O Messenger of Allah, why do you fast on Mondays and Thursdays?” He said: “On Mondays and Thursdays Allah forgives every Muslim except two who have forsaken one another. If you are unable to fast you can still partake in this opportunity of gaining reward by spreading the word. Perhaps one will fast because of your message. ‎(... مَنْ دَلَّ عَلَى خَيْرٍ فَلَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ فَاعِلِهِ ) "Whoever points to something good will have the same reward as the one who does it.” [Sahih Muslim] Simple deeds that can attain great reward. If you fast remember; we only ask that you are generous in your duas for the imprisoned souls. #letsrevivethesunnah

(فَاسْتَبِقُوا الْخَيْرَاتِ) If you read 5 pages every day, starting from today, you can finish reading the mus’haf once before Ramadān, إن شاء الله. For sisters, if you take off 5-7 days per month without reading due to menstruation, you should be able to finish reading the mus’haf by reading 7 pages per day. This is a perfect time to do a tafsīr khatmah as well, especially if you find it difficult during Ramadān. Do with this information as you wish 😊
