Learning price action and market structure using the ICC method has helped me to stop fighting trends. Before I was a trend fighter/scalper. If I see a token pumping, I'll position for short with 25% of my margin. I'll only add the remaining 75% once my position is 200% in red. This way, my short entry would be very close to the latest high. Then I'll close 75% of my position at BE and repeat the process until I was tired and allow the short run. It was quite successful but it was a very stressful way to trade. One major issue with this method was that many times, after closing most of my position in BE, the token will tank and I'd miss out on most of the profits I'd have made if I had left my full margin. Another issue was the possibility of the token pumping further even after adding the remaining 75% of my margin. Now, with ICC, I wait for price to tell me where it wants to go instead of telling price where and when I want it to go.
