Dear Aspirants The interview unlike tier 2 exam is not about facts and figures, it's about opinions which tell about your personality and your decision making ability. So, whatever issue you are reading and preparing be it war, economic collapse or international order.. read the facts and make your logical opinions about it. Don't copy paste the opinions from the editorial/opinion section. They are worthless because "Every piece of News is PAID and BIASED". You can discuss it with your circle and do red teaming to find out loopholes in your logic of the opinion. Regards

Dear Aspirants The real game of interview is handling the pressure and answering the adverse questions well. They will derail you with negative responses or counter questions. COUNTER QUESTION- The question will be a contrast to your previous response. To answer such question, calmly state your point with logic that is behind your understanding. GRILL If they persisted with their side of counter logic, it becomes grilling. If you feel that their solution also have gravity, apologize and accept that you might haven't read about that particular aspect. If you have new understanding to offer, state it politely. NEGATIVE RESPONSE- They might directly state that you are wrong. Here you can admit that as far as my understanding of the matter is, I believe this point because of this reason. I might be wrong because there are lot many dimensions to any issue. RUDE BEHAVIOR- When he is not listening to your response or using mobile phone etc. Be calm and give your response well. It is a tactic. Don't worry. Don't loose patience. NOTE- PRACTICE THESE BEHAVIOR WITH YOUR FRIENDS/MOCK INTERVIEWERS. Regards.

Dear Aspirants It is advisable for men, that they are clean Shave+ Formal Hair cut. Can keep the mustache if they want. SHAVE IN THE MORNING OF THE INTERVIEW DAY. GET THE HAIR CUT A DAY BEFORE INTERVIEW. Note- 1. Everybody remove additional wearing like chains, rings, Kalava for the day. Women candidates can wear ear rings. 2. No need to wear a watch. NO WATCH.NOT DIGITAL OR ANALOG. NOTHING. Remove it before you enter the interview room.

For MEN There are two options 1. Formal trouser+ Full sleeve Shirt+ Tie(formal shoes& socks of matching color/Belt) 2. Formal suit. Trouser + Blazer of same color/same cloth+ tie+ Shirt+(belt/Shoe) For WOMEN There are 3 options. 1. Formal suit 2. Saree 3. Suit salwar with dupatta. Note- 1. You can watch upsc CSE mocks interviews of women aspirant to make your choice of the attire. 2. There is no such hard and fast rule that this works and this doesn't. So feel free to choose the one which makes you comfortable plus enhance your personality. 3. Color should be formal, ethnic. Don't make mistake of choosing stylish fabric.
