While you wait for God's plan, timing, wisdom and blessings to unfold, we are not to be idle, but rather, active and faithful. Waiting time is not wasted time when it's spent serving God. We must use this season to grow closer to Him through prayer, fasting, reading His Word, and walking in obedience to what He has revealed to us through Scripture. Galatians 6:9 says: “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” This passage reminds us that we need to keep doing good, keep walking, keep serving and seeking God by helping others, planting seeds, and leading by example; being a light in this dark world! As we serve and seek Him daily, God strengthens our faith, patience, and prepares our hearts for the blessings He has already set in motion and is weaving together in His time! So be active while you wait, be in the Word, Prayer, and fasting, daily, and you will never be sorry! God is with us! “The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. Trusting God's timing means we surrender our plans and desires to His perfect wisdom, knowing He see's what we cannot. God is outside of time and can see the beginning, middle and end; the whole picture. Because of this we can rest assured that He is weaving together a perfect plan in His perfect timing. While it may seem like prayers are delayed or answers are not being met when we want them to, we can trust in Gods words that He does have a plan for us and its not in our timing, but His. Often it feels difficult because we live in a world where speed is valued, but God works in seasons; preparing, shaping, and aligning everything for our good, and His glory! "All things work together for good to them that love God"(Romans 8:28) In Ecclesiastes 3:11 it says: “He hath made every thing beautiful in his time.” This passage shows things may be delayed, but its often divine preparation; for your good and benefit. We need to take this time to rest in His timing, His plan, His way, and His will; standing confident in His Word, promises and blessings. When we do, we learn patience, faith and dependence on Him. God's plan is never late, and when the time is right, the promises and blessings will unfold exactly as He intended. God is with us, even now; in the pain, in the hurt, in the heartbreak, in the suffering, in the trials and in any other storms; you are not forsaken or forgotten! Keep your head held high, keep walking and keep having trust and faith in the Almighty Creator of Heaven and earth! God loves you, He is with you. When the storms of life surround us, the winds of of uncertainty blow and the waves seem overwhelming, our safest place is to keep our eyes fixed on God. Just like when Peter was on the water and the moment he looked away from Jesus Christ, he began to sink and fall into the sea, so will we sink if we do not keep our focus and attention on Christ when we go through these storms. Isaiah 26:3 says: “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” No matter how fierce the storm feels and how much the sea rages, God remains steadfast, unshaken, unchanging, and faithful. We are to walk by faith, not by sight; so when we choose faith over fear and fix our eyes and heart upon Jesus Christ alone, His peace guards our hears and minds with His perfect strength. Being in the Word and in prayer daily helps us keep our focus and draws us closer to God. The Bible says draw near to God and He will draw near to you, and also He is close to the broken hearted and those that be of a contrite spirit; so rest assured that He is near, He is with you and He will be with you every step of the way. Holding true to God's promises means trusting that His plan for your life is unfolding exactly as it should, even when you can't see the full picture, or even when you are going through heavy storms. Jeremiah 29:11 says: “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” God's promises and blessings reminds us that nothing in our lives is wasted; every trial, delay, storm and blessing is shaping us for His purpose, in His timing. When we feel uncertain, remember God is a promise keeper, He is faithful, His word never fails, and His timing is always perfect. So stand firm, stand confident in the faith, keep walking in obedience, seek Him, and know that the same God who spoke creation into existence is still speaking life and direction over your journey today. Rejoice in the LORD! Rejoicing in the LORD is a deliberate act of faith, rooted in the unchanging character and love of God; not in our circumstances or feelings. The Bible calls us to rejoice always (Philippians 4:4), because our joy and peace is found in who God is; He is our Saviour, Redeemer, Father, our strength and refuge; not in the storms of life or any ups or downs we may face.
