A wonderful day in DC, and I can’t believe this was more than a month ago! Had an amazing time exploring the capital and riding a scooter through the whole city in the night 🇺🇸 Unexpectedly met Armenians on the street. An Armenian girl seeing us speak Armenian and approaching with 2 other strangers coming up in a span of 3 minutes was wild! 🇦🇲 I am very grateful for this experience and a huge thanks to Greg for showing me around!

New York | Day 2 Filled with an immense sense of joy, I returned to the hotel from the observation deck, got a good night sleep and was excited for my second day in the city that never sleeps 🌇 At first, I had a quite nice breakfast with coffee and another type of bagel at a nearby cafe in the Chelsea area. Then, I decided to walk to the Financial District, at the southern tip of Manhattan 💸 On my way, I also got to explore the NYU campus 💜, experience the lovely atmosphere at Washington Square Park and watch some street performances 🎹 Later, I reached the Financial District and was thrilled to explore the iconic Wall Street, where I saw the New York Stock Exchange, the Trump Building and many other famous landmarks 💰 Not long after, I got to see the Oculus and the famous Charging Bull 🐂statue, which had a long line of people waiting just to take a photo with it 🤷‍♂️ After, I enjoyed a nice walk through Battery Park, took the subway and soon I was at Joe’s pizza in Times Square, the legendary pizza spot where the Spider-Man used to work in the movies! 🍕🤩 Absolutely loved the pizza, but also noticed a collection of banknotes from around the world that only had 2 old Armenian dram bills. So I decided to sign a new one and left my own little mark in the heart of the New York City! 🇦🇲🗽 Later, I walked through Times Square once again and soon I reached Central Park. It didn’t take long for me to become convinced that New York is truly the city of jazz, as I came across gifted saxophone players all around the park 🎷 As a fan of the Madagascar cartoons, there was no way I was going to miss the Central Park Zoo. Although the entrance was quite similar to that of the cartoon, I didn’t find the zoo itself as exciting as my other destinations 🥰 In the evening, I had another light walk in the city and explored the Grand Central Terminal 🚇 With a bittersweet feeling of not wanting to leave, I packed my bags and was ready for the journey that awaited me the next day! 🌟
