#砂拉越生物工业园 Ground Breaking and Exchange of MOA for the Sarawak Bioindustrial Park (#SBP) @ Sarawak Bioindustrial Park, Kota Samarahan by Premier Abg Jo It is not just the 1st bioindustrial park of its kind in Sarawak, but also part of Sarawak's aspiration to add value to the natural biodiversity that Sarawak is blessed with, while transforming our economy from natural resources to a high-value, technology-driven economy. Sarawak is not happy with just being classified as High Income by the World Bank in July 2023, but aspires to achieve High Household Income by 2030. Premier Abg Jo shared that countries like Singapore have a lot of biotechnology but limited natural biodiversity, while Sarawak has very rich biodiversity but needs more technology.
