Some of you can smell ants🙇‍♀️🐜 I don't mean now though😅. Many species of ants release strong smelling chemicals when they're angry,threatened or being squished. Some people describe the smell of ants as similar to that of blue cheese, vinegar or cleaning spray. However, due to genetic differences in our olfactory receptors,only a portion of our population ( roughly 20%) have this ability. Do you have this antman sensing ability 😭😅? @edsciencelab 📚👩‍🔬

Screen time before bed is common,yh? It comes with a price to pay though. Using phones at night exposes your eyes to blue light that stops melatonin production , tricking your brain into thinking it is daytime thereby affecting your sleep wake cycle. You are about one to two centimeters taller when you wake up in the morning than when you go to sleep at night. The backbone has small bones with soft sponge like discs between them. When you sleep at night these discs relax , fill up with fluid and become bigger making you about a centimeter or two taller when you wake up. Good morning 🙃@edsciencelab📚👩‍🔬

George Green is the Ramanujan of physics. Born to a miller in Nottingham, Green himself took up the trade and was largely self-educated. At 35, he rented out his mill and wrote "An Essay on the Application of Mathematical Analysis to the Theories of Electricity and Magnetism". In this work, he introduced what are now known as Green's formula, the Green function, and potential, laying the groundwork for potential theory. He self-published this essay as a small booklet, with the financial support of friends. Only after this accomplishment did he attend Cambridge to obtain a formal education. Tragically, he passed away at 48. Later historians studied the resources available to Green during his self-education in Nottingham. Among their findings was an intriguing entry in the local gentlemen's club library: Laplace's "Traité de mécanique céleste". If this was the cornerstone of his learning, it remains a mystery how he mastered French, given that he had never attended school prior to writing his seminal work.
