I used to look up the ticket prices of different destinations in the past. Last year, i badly wanted to visit Istanbul and Moscow and went there in Spring and Automn. I believe imagining ourselves reaching the target destination and feeling the ground can help us get these places faster. Our greatest weapon is our mind/imagination.

#writing Yesterday, i visited my favorite brother at Everest L.C. He is someone whom you can trust and rely on. He is better off than most people both physically and mentally. I told him all about how i am spending my life and what he said to me after that really opened my eyes. He spoke his mind and consulted me about what to do now after so many fuck-ups i had. I cant tell you all the story and the topics of our conversation. However, i can tell you that having a genuine person who is pious and thoughtful next to you is an underrated blessing most just ignore. I have been living my life on my own terms and progressed backwards. Long atory short, i am grateful to be close to these people that can both inspire and critisize me constructively.

#writing How I feel when I am up early in the morning? Ridiculously awesome. I mean I feel like I can conquer the world when I wake up before sunrise. As soon as I open my eyes, I feel proud of myself as most of my friends are still sleeping. There are many advantages to waking up early. The first one is that you will have a lot of time as if you have two days’ time while others having just 24 hours. People can learn a language or finish tons of books in 4-5 months if they can discipline themselves to wake up earlier each day. After they train their brain, they will still be able to exercise to stay fit before going to work or school. Another benefit earlier risers have is stress free lifestyle. This is because of the quiet and tranquil atmosphere that happens only in the morning when most people are in their bed. This, of course, affects their brain positively as they are not distracted by daily noise of cities. That’s why I think it is the best time of the day for contemplation. Success or the increased likelihood of success is another benefit of waking up early. Most well-known entrepreneurs claim that we cant be rich sleeping 8 hours a day and they suggest sleeping around 5-6 hours. Although I don’t agree with them on this, it is important to acknowledge that we sometimes have to sacrifice our sleep to achieve something bigger.

#writing It has been a long time since I last wrote an essay. A lot happened during my brake. A lot changed in my life and I took responsibility for my life and made some bold decisions. I am used to complaining a lot about my life recently. I am getting more and more ungrateful. So I decided to write about blessings in my life now. Firstly, I am grateful that I am in perfect shape and I have no problems with my health. I am flexible and fit. My overall cardio is much better than most of my peers although I used to be a heavy smoker in the past. I don’t have any extra weight, all pure strength muscles. Why should I worry about other things when I have the most valuable asset anyone can have – health? Secondly, what I am grateful the most is my family. They are all healthy both physically and mentally. They have a roof over their head and food to eat. Because they have a well-paid job, they don’t struggle financially. All my siblings can talk in English and explain themselves freely, which is a really useful skill in this globalized world. For sure, we may argue with each other and get upset sometimes but we all know that we may not always like each other but we always love each other. Thirdly, I am happy that I have been pursuing a career which is both profitable and meaningful. I have been working as an English teacher for 5 years and i have been running my own education center since 2023. So far, we have had around 8 stuff members including me at our education center. It may not be the best in the region but I am sure it will be one of them in the upcoming years as our income is growing noticeably year after year. Another blessing in my life is people’s and my student’s respect towards me. Although I don’t deserve these praises and respect from others, I feel good knowing that they dont judge me negatively for my lifestyle. Sometimes my older relatives come to me for advise as they consider me as one of their successful friends. To be honest, I am not the person they think. However, I am grateful to have this blessing from God in my life.

#writing I am feeling more nostalgic than I used to. Maybe, this is normal when you are past 25. I don't know. But, it hurts a little bit to find out that the world you imagined in your childhood is not the same as in your adulthood. It seemed like in movies where things start a bit worse and gets better towards the end. All the cartoons, films used to end with happy endings. Now, I, as a young adult, don't watch movies. I watch the news about the world around me. Every news is worse than the other. What the hell. I am sure the reason why I am feeling so negative these days is because I abandoned the orders Allah commended in our Holly Book - Qur'an. God is near but I am far away from him. @englishwithMahmudjon
