🎭 Last Thursday evening, a large open-air concert called "Night at the Opera" took place in front of the Abay Kazakh National Opera and Ballet Theatre in Almaty. The event celebrated the closing of the theatre's 92nd season. Hundreds of people came early to find good places, and by the beginning of the concert the square was full of visitors. 🍿 During the performance, the theatre's symphony orchestra, choir, and leading opera soloists performed famous works by both international and Kazakh composers. 🎶 The audience enjoyed music by Tchaikovsky, Rossini, Carl Orff, and Mascagni, as well as well-known pieces from Kazakh opera. The atmosphere was warm and exciting 🤩 because people could listen to classical music under the open sky for free. The concert became one of the city's most memorable cultural 🎇events this summer. They pushed each other, tested new tricks, and even went for a jump over a massive block of ice. 🏆Some landed it. Some didn’t. But everyone committed and kept going.
