My wife got rejected for 5 times in Tashkent for F-2 visa. My background helped for both of us. Alhamdulillah we got out visas this time. It was a long journey for us to reach this result. We have seen a lot of foreign applicants applying for F-1 visa inside the embassy. I have not seen any Central Asians and not even Russians, most of them were Iranians, some locals, and some people from African countries. There were only two officers interviewing. First officer approved some visas, but rejected most of them and he was interviewing like usual standing. However, the other one that we had an interview with was a really nice guy who approved straight 4- 5 applications in a row, and we were the next.
