I have also been working on an interactive Charity / Non Profit / NGO Database in my spare time - when I get the chance. Its a slog but ill get there.

A dataset generated from the CJQ06 crime dataset, comparing every crime type across all Garda divisions between 2019 and 2024, with percentage changes calculated. For instances where the count goes from 0 to 3, I’m treating it as a 300% increase — not perfect, but more informative than defaulting to 0%. The data will soon be visualized using Datamapper, the tool behind those polished, division-level crime maps.

I’m a reactive person, and Twitter is a serious mindfuck. I keep catching myself reacting to trolls or jumping in to defend people I don’t even know. It’s a tightrope — you can’t get into five arguments on Twitter and still have the headspace to research or think of real solutions. This morning, before 8:30, I’d already seen dead bodies in Palestine, leftists abusing us, us abusing leftists, another migrant attack — all before my first coffee. People need to be really aware of this, because even with the best intentions, your focus can get completely derailed for the day just by looking at the wrong stuff first thing. If you want to create, you need a clear head.
