Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has been killed following an Israeli airstrike on his compound in Tehran. Channel 12 News reports that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was shown an image of Khamenei’s body after it was recovered by Iranian authorities from the site of the strike.

According to Channel 12 and Kan News, Iranian leadership and senior military commanders suffered significant damage in the strikes, while officials reportedly have no contact with Khamenei. Reports also suggest any upcoming address attributed to him may have been recorded in advance.

India is canceling flights to Israel starting tomorrow for one week.

Air India to cancel all flights to Israel starting Sunday Indian airline Air India plans to cancel all flights to Israel for one week starting next Sunday, Israel's Channel 12 reported. The decision reportedly followed the visit of India’s Prime Minister Modi to Israel, and is set to be reviewed after the one week period.

UK, France, Germany and others issue travel warnings for Israel & Iran Several nations have issued travel warnings for Israel and Iran to their citizens in recent hours, amid concerns that a war between the Iranian regime and the U.S. and Israel could be imminent. The UK advised its citizens against non-essential travel to Israel, while moving some of its embassy staff from Tel Aviv to “another location” in Israel. Earlier, the UK said it evacuated its embassy staff from Iran, citing the current “security situation.” France also called on its citizens to avoid traveling to Israel, while Germany “urgently” called on its citizens not to travel to Israel. Poland called on its citizens to leave Iran, Israel, and Lebanon immediately, while Italy advised its citizens in Israel to remain vigilant and called on Italians to leave Iran and avoid traveling to Iraq and Lebanon. In addition, Turkey cancelled all flights to Iran on Friday.

Russia’s Foreign Ministry urged both countries to halt strikes and resolve their differences, with Russian media reporting that the Kremlin would consider mediating if requested. Yesterday, the Taliban authorities announced a large-scale military operation along the border with Pakistan, in response to Pakistani airstrikes in Afghanistan about a week earlier. Three weeks ago, a suicide bombing at a Shiite mosque in Islamabad killed dozens, with the Islamic State claiming responsibility. Last November, a dozen died in a suicide attack near Pakistan’s Supreme Court, attributed to Taliban operatives in Afghanistan and India.
