So....I'm gonna be the unpopular one and just say it. I don't want arguments or pity or anything. Just shut it and listen, Karen, the universe gave you one mouth and TWO ears for a reason. When the cancer comes back for round number two and you are trying not to tell the kids again or find....a decent time to say even though there isn't any good time for that ever and it's been a long day and your teenage kids forgot they made plans with you and the dog is eating cardboard like a mentally retarded orangutan and you get rejected for some skin to skin contact and you suddenly know....just like.. KNOW in your heart the hurt someone has to have to go out in the dark in a snowstorm and scream obscenities to the sky and get completely soaked freezing cold and angry at....everything...so many things make sense. Yes Ive tried comfrey and castor oil and hyperbaric chambers and adult coloring and acupuncture and charcoal baths.....when all you really want is to be able to look someone in the face and ask for a hug and....some sincerity and.....to matter that it hurts....to someone. Anyone.
