Free The Brothers Yahya Al-Qouqa and Mohammed Al-Qouqa Freed prisoners and engineering students at An-Najah University arrested by the occupation On April 12th, 2026, occupation forces rearrested Yahya Amin al-Qouqa from his home in Nablus. Before this, Yahya was detained by the Palestinian Authority for 15 days in an arrest campaign targeting students at Al-Najah University, and was released on May 5th, 2025. Earlier on June 9th, 2023, Yahya was detained as he was walking, by a vehicle driving by with masked men who violently took him to be held by the Palestinian Authority for 5 days. Yahya is an Engineering and Information Technology student at Al-Najah University. On May 6th, 2026, occupation forces rearrested Mohammed Amin al-Qouqa after he was released 6 months earlier. During the arrest they stormed and raided his home in Nablus. Mohammed is an Engineering student at An-Najah University who was previously arrested and imprisoned on October 3, 2023. Mohammed and Yahya are the sons of Amin Khaled al-Qouqa who was arrested by the collaborating Palestinian Authority in 2007. The Qassam fighter was sentenced to life imprisonment for his resistance against the colonizer. He has suffered 19 years in the PA's al-Junaid prison in Nablus. During his long political detention, his health detoriorated and he experienced high blood pressure, heart rhythm disorder, and poor vision. One of the longest-held prisoners by the collaborating Authority, Amin faces harsh conditions, solitary confinement, and medical neglect. In 2023, Amin heroically escaped the prison! Following his reabduction, he began an open-ended hunger strike that lasted 9 days. On April 22nd, 2023, following Amin Al-Qouqa's escape from prison, PA forces raided and stormed the Al-Qouqa family home. They arrested four family members including the brothers Yahya and Mohammed, targeting Amin's family to force him to turn himself in. Yahya wrote this about his father after 13 years of Amin's imprisonment: O God, guard him with Your eye that never sleeps. O God, keep affliction and misery far from him. O God, grant him joy. O God, bring relief... bring the moment closer... grant him respite... There is no one like my father Free Amin, Yahya, and Mohammed Al-Qouqa! Free all Palestinian prisoners!

The occupation raided the home and rearrested freed prisoner and Al-Quds University Student Rafiq Qabaj رفيق قبج, from Al-Bireh, in February 2026. The repeated detentions by the occupation and the collaborating PA threaten his education and already he has passed what was meant to be the semester of his graduation in prison.
