We still need money Our friend and comrade Yerro was violentely deported to The Gambia last year autumn while being in the marriage process with his partner. We are still fighting with Yerro for his return to Germany. Of course, the responsible authorities are making many problems, procedures are taking ages and involving many costs. For example now we have to involve new specialized lawyers to sue one of those authorities. Right now we have three different lawyers to pay that take care of certain parts of all those procedures. Abschiebung von Menschenrechtaktivisten Am Frankfurter Flughafen haben sich am Nachmittag zahlreiche Menschen versammelt, um gegen die umstrittene Abschiebung des Menschenrechtsaktivisten Yerro Gaye zu protestieren. Die Abschiebung Gayes war trotz eines Heiratsprozesses mit seiner Partnerin angeordnet worden. Die Behörde zweifelte die Verlobung an und behauptete trotz vorgelegter Nachweise, keine Kenntnis von dieser gehabt zu haben. Das Gericht urteilte im Sinne der Behörde. "Das Vorgehen der Behörde zeigt deutlich, dass hier nicht sorgfältig ermittelt, sondern eine vorgefasste Position durchgesetzt wurde", so Gayes Anwältin. Ein Härtefallantrag wurde von der Landes-Innenministerin ignoriert. Eine freiwillige Ausreise, für die sich Gaye zuletzt entschieden hatte, wurde nicht gewährt. Gaye richtete sich in einer Rede an seine zahlreichen Unterstützer:innen: „Ich verspreche euch, dass ich stark bleiben werde und mich niemals einschüchtern lasse. Mein einziges Verbrechen ist, dass ich ein Migrant bin."
