Heute verübt der zionistische Feind weiterhin Angriffe und Morde auf das Land aus. Neustens hat die libanesische Regierung, auf Druck der USA, die Entwaffnung vom Widerstand dort beschlossen. Nach dem Film werden wir aktuelle Einschätzungen aus dem Land hören. Film in Arabisch mit englischen Untertitel, Input auf Deutsch.

Richard Frick, Dozent für Typografie, Fachbuchau-tor, Buch- und Plakatsammler - und Genosse. Auf Reisen durch über 60 Länder hat er eine beeindruckende Sammlung von Tausenden Plakate-zusammengetragen: Zeugnisse globaler Kämpfe, Ausdruck internationaler Solidarität und visuelle Waffen politischer Bewegungen. Ein besonderer Fokus seiner Sammlung liegt auf den Plakaten der OSPAAAL (Organization of Solidarity with the People of Asia, Africa and Latin America). Seit 1966 unterstützte die OSPAAAL antiimperialistische Bewegungen weltweit mit kraftvoller Plakatkunst - ein visuelles Echo globaler Befrei-ungskämpfe. Im Zentrum der Veranstaltung steht das Werk von Marc Rudin (Jihad Mansour). Für Rudin war Kunst kein Selbstzweck, sondern eine Waffe: zur Mobilisierung, zur Solidarisierung und zur Sichtbarmachung unterdrückter Kämpfe. Seine Plakate für die PFLP (Volksfront zur Befreiung Palästinas) gehören zu den eindrucksvollsten Beispielen revolutionärer Kunst, die Widerstand ästhetisch sichtbar und politisch wirksam machten. Richard Frick analysiert Rudins Stil, seine politischen Botschaften und deren Bedeutung im globalen Klassenkampf. Plakate sind keine Relikte - sie sind Waffen des Widerstands. Sie tragen die Stimmen vergangener Kämpfe, die wir weiterführen - in Palästina, auf den Philippinen und überall, bis wir alle frei sind.

Januar 2025 findet in der @friedensgasse eine Präsentation von Bildern und Videos statt, die einen Einblick in das Leben und den Kampf der Guerillakämpfer_innen der Neuen Volksarmee auf den Philippinen geben. Kommt am Mittwoch dem 22. Januar 2025 um 19:00 zur Eröffnung der Veranstaltung mit einer kurzen Einfuhrung, einer Lesung einer ehemaligen Guerrillakämpferin, einem Auftritt der Proletarischen Singgruppe und leckerem philippinischem Essen.

Polo captures the guerrillas not only as fighters but also as doctors, teachers, farmers, and artists, organized around educational and pedagogical projects. The film reveals how daily duties are politically relevant and how the transformation of individuals and communities takes place through the revolutionary practices of the movement. The film will be shown in the original language with English subtitles.

Paloma Polo Friday, January 24, 7pm In the framework of the exhibition “Tayo’y Narito” running from 22nd to 30th January El Barro de la Revolución reveals the work and life of the NPA (New People’s Army), the armed branch of the Communist Party, by following a guerrilla unit in the Philippine rainforest. This filmic investigation by Paloma Polo is the culmination of three years of research into the question of what social conditions give rise to political change.
