Many of you will have heard about the new Packaging Regulation (EPR/PPWR), which takes effect on August 12, 2026. https://www.bundesumweltministerium.de/themen/kreislaufwirtschaft/abfallarten-und-abfallstroeme/verpackungsabfaelle/europaeisches-recht-ueber-verpackungen-und-verpackungsabfaelle (German version) Under this law, you must have a representative in every EU country who handles the registration and disposal of your packaging. That costs around 200–300€ per EU country. No small business (like mine) can afford that. The big companies just laugh it off. Either they already have branches in every country, or these sums are a drop in the bucket compared to their revenue. There are no exceptions for small business owners. This marks the death of the EU’s economic COMMUNITY, and for many small business owners, it spells the end of their companies. And it doesn’t just affect businesses. As a customer, you will no longer be able to shop in other EU countries, because no one will be selling there anymore. But I am still alive and I am still working! New Kigu in the Making

It was very silent for some time - as many of you know, my workshop is located in another Village - and my car had been in the shop for almost 4 weeks when i was promised one, two maximum. Which overthrew all my planning and I had to shift around some projects - now I am trying to get all the work done that got left behind as well as prepare for Eurofurence, which is in two weeks. Very chaotic time 😆

I am currently Stuck at home due to my Car being stuck in the shop, so it is time for filling out my tax forms! 😭

I took two additional Dancemask slots, one for EF and one for after :) Slot Applications are now closed.

I also did a sabertooth one in April, just haven't gotten around to sort the pictures yet

‼️Open for Dancemask Applications until Sunday Evening (5th July) for Eurofurence 2026.‼️ ✅Quote Application Form: https://geisterwerke.de/dancemask-quote-application-form/ 💸Basic Masks start at 200€ and include Eye Mesh, Adjustable straps, 4 washable paddings and one color. For any Extras check the list in the Form. 👓You can wear these with glasses.‼️ Dancemasks are lightweight, bendable and durable half masks for quickly getting into character. Mask will be done by August and can be picked up at Eurofurence 2026, or shipped out. No first come first serve - you can fill out the form, I will get back to you with a final price and you can either decline or accept that price and then I will choose one Slot, maximum 2 Slots depending on the complexity from all applications.

Due to a cancellation ( sad, but they had a good reason) I have one more spontaneous Dancemask Slot to fill that will be finished by Eurofurence 2026 - so if you ever were interested in getting one from me, now is a very special chance with a very short waiting time :D
