The priority of the social question within CasaPound—the way that it sees itself as the defender of the national community and “shield” of the people—takes for its major inspiration the fascist experience, especially its dimension as a “social revolution,” in the words of Adriano Scianca, which are tied to its original “intersecting strands of the immense and red fascism [in the expression of Brasillach], its Sorelian, syndicalist, and popular roots.” “The dictatorship of the free market, the short-­sighted and servile policies of various governments so far,” reads its ­political platform, “succeeded in dismantling the welfare state created during Fascism, forcing Italians to suffer unemployment, job insecurity, forced proletarianization and uncontrolled immigration.” Within this logic, CasaPound’s policy of national preference—“Italians first” in matters of housing, work, school and the welfare state—is to be expected. “We believe in a strong Europe, self-sufficient,” states its political program, “which does not expose European workers to competition from countries whose populations do not have the same protection, working hours and wages as European workers. In short, a sort of commercial State closed on a continental scale.”

On this day 39 years ago, the 93-year-old Rudolf Hess died at Spandau prison, having been incarcerated (first in Britain, then in Germany) ever since his heroic flight on a peace mission to Scotland in 1941. In this article I examined the strong likelihood that Hess was murdered: not by British intelligence (that is a fictional story that rests on a fundamental misinterpretation of the evidence), but by a black American prison warder. A murder that was covered up for political reasons, and a story that reflects both on the disaster of Europe’s civil war in the 1940s (a disaster that Hess tried to prevent), and on the ethnic transformation of Europe in the postwar decades. Update on Ryan Turner's deportation. After spending roughly 8 months in detention, Ryan Turner will be returning back to the UK in the next few weeks. This isn’t due to the failure of his ongoing court case to get his visa back, it’s still very much in the works, he can continue to fight the case from the UK and will be for potentially the next 18 months while he pursues the government up till federal court. It is due to the fact for 9 weeks he's been in solitary confinement with 1-3 hours a WEEK yard time due to ongoing troubles with him not backing down on his personal believes whilst outnumbered 200/1 and it is leading to some issues among other detainees. To give context on one instance He pulled down an ISIS flag inside of his accommodation and was punished for it whilst the people who put it up are still free walking around in general population. "From the day I get to the UK up until the day of my court case I will continue to argue for free speech, and freedom of association in the UK and mainly Australia, this will incur fees and I’ve already been hit with a $18,000 bill for being inside of detention that I need to pay before I return to the country even if I win my court case." Although Ryan is willing to stay and fight the case, it is not productive nor reasonable to expect him to do 2 years in solitary for the "crime" of teaching men how to box. Working in these places must be a living nightmare. Companies that house these migrants and put their staff at risk should be legally responsible.
