“There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.” — Maya Angelou “And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music.” — Friedrich Nietzsche 🎧@homeofbookquotes
So many people "run away" and then justify the "running away." They run away from the hard things, the problems, the challenges of life, society, or their own work. And then they wonder why nothing works out for them. Fight for what you want. Stop running. 🎧@homeofbookquotes
“Some souls are not meant to be held; they are meant to be remembered, like moonlight—touching everything, belonging to nothing.” 🎧@homeofbookquotes
“To be nobody but yourself in a world which is doing its best day and night to make you like everybody else means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight and never stop fighting.” ― E.E. Cummings 🎧@homeofbookquotes
Rainer Maria Rilke "Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given because you would not be able to live them. Live the questions now." 🎧@homeofbookquotes
Marcus Aurelius "The happiness of your life depends upon the quality of your thoughts. Therefore, guard accordingly, and take care that you entertain no notions unsuitable to virtue and reasonable nature." 🎧@homeofbookquotes
Most of us don't want success. They want the way success looks and feels, when the hardest work & sacrifices are mostly done. 🎧@homeofbookquotes
Authenticity is not about saying whatever pops into your head. It's about sharing what reflects who you want to be. Healthy self-expression doesn't mean no filter. It involves weighing whether your current thoughts and emotions are aligned with your lasting values. 🎧@homeofbookquotes
Never underestimate the human need for recognition. People will destroy relationships, sabotage opportunities, and betray their own standards just to feel seen for a few minutes. Attention is not a small currency. It is emotional oxygen, and desperate people will bargain away dignity to breathe. 🎧@homeofbookquotes
"There is no peace for the man who has seen what he could become." - Epictetus Once you know who you could be, and you feel it in your bones.... You will never rest until you get there. 🎧@homeofbookquotes
If you were the King, would you prioritize the justice of the law (the act committed) or the truth of the person (the circumstances lived), knowing that choosing one effectively destroys the other? 🎧@homeofbookquotes
The Clockmaker’s Compass In the kingdom of Oros, the Great Clockmaker crafted a mechanical compass for the King. It was not a tool for navigation, but a tool for truth. When pointed at any person, the needle would swing to reveal their "Greatest Regret"—the one moment in their life they would change if they could. One day, the King brought a criminal before him to be judged. The man had stolen bread to feed a starving village. The King, hesitant to pass a harsh sentence, held the compass to the man. The needle spun wildly, failing to point to any specific regret. Confused, the King held the compass to himself. The needle immediately pointed to his own chest: his greatest regret was choosing to be King instead of a simple farmer. The King then held the compass to the criminal one last time, begging it to show the man’s guilt. Finally, the needle clicked into place. It didn’t point to the theft of the bread, nor to any sin. It pointed to the King himself. The criminal’s greatest regret was that he had never been given the opportunity to live a life where he didn't have to steal to survive. The King realized that the compass did not measure the "truth" of an action, but the truth of the circumstance. He held the power to punish the man for his crime, but he now saw that the man’s "guilt" was a shadow cast by the King’s own governance. 🎧@homeofbookquotes
If you're out there watching everyone else hit milestones... Stop looking at everyone else, and get to work. 🎧@homeofbookquotes
One of the signs of growth is that situations that used to take longer to solve will now take lesser times for you. You start to bounce back a bit quicker, you process things faster, but you have to be careful, this can also be a sign of numbness, it can also mean that you are losing your sensitivity, your soul, you start to not care, you are quick to wave things off, to become detached and nonchalant. You must be vigilant, to feel things passionately is important, you should not want to lose that. There is no joy in life without emotions, no joy at all. 🎧@homeofbookquotes
And once the storm is over, you won’t remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. You won’t even be sure, whether the storm is really over. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm, you won’t be the same person who walked in. That’s what this storm’s all about. Haruki Murakami, 🎧@homeofbookquotes

“It is not death that a man should fear, but he should fear never beginning to live.” — Marcus Aurelius 🎧@homeofbookquotes
Your brain will invent fake problems for you if you don't go out and find real ones. "If I have to suffer, then let it be from my reality." —- Carl Gustav Jung 🎧@homeofbookquotes
