*JKBOSE Postpones Today's Class 10th & 12th Bi-Annual Exams Across J&K Due to Adverse Weather* Srinagar, July 20, KNT: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) on Monday announced the postponement of the bi-annual examinations for Classes 10th and 12th, which were scheduled to be conducted today, July 20, 2026, across the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Officials of the Board told the Kashmir News Trust (KNT) that the examinations have been deferred in view of the prevailing adverse weather conditions and forecasts predicting heavy rainfall, flash floods, and possible cloudbursts in several parts of the Union Territory. They said that fresh dates for the postponed examinations will be announced separately through an official notification. JKBOSE has advised all students to remain in touch with official announcements and avoid relying on unverified information regarding the revised examination schedule. The Board reiterated that the safety and well-being of students remain its top priority while taking the decision to postpone the examinations. (KNT)
