The current model is not bringing concrete benefits to the project, so we are analyzing the data to build a more sustainable and effective system. HUDI — FULL UPDATE ON INCIDENT, TOKEN REASSIGNMENTS, AND TOKEN ROADMAP With this message, we want to provide a complete and structured update on what has happened over the past weeks, the actions we are taking, and the next steps regarding the HUDI token and the evolution of the ecosystem. ⸻ SECURITY INCIDENT AND INVESTIGATION STATUS At the end of December, an unauthorized access occurred to the wallets holding ownership of the HUDI staking contracts. Third parties gained control of these keys and, using them, withdrew the tokens held in the smart contracts and immediately sold them on the market. In effect, the tokens in staking were stolen and dumped. The incident occurred in close temporal proximity to the well-known security breach involving Trust Wallet. For this reason, we do not rule out that the two events may be connected, and we have initiated a formal dialogue with Trust Wallet, also in view of a potential reimbursement request, following the procedures they have indicated. From an investigative standpoint: • an in-depth on-chain analysis has been conducted • fund flows have been traced • the stolen tokens have been followed up to an exchange In order to proceed further, obtain additional information, and involve third parties (including exchanges), it is necessary to file a formal police report for theft. This step is also required by Trust Wallet to officially advance any request. We are working together with our advisors and legal partners to identify the most appropriate and effective way to proceed. Until the police report is formally filed, some investigative activities cannot move forward. ⸻ REASSIGNMENT OF STAKED TOKENS In parallel, and independently of the outcome of the investigations, we have decided to proceed with the reassignment of the HUDI tokens that were held in the staking contracts. Over the coming days and within the next two weeks (approximately by the end of January): • the tokens withdrawn from the staking contracts • will be reassigned to their respective owners, based on their positions prior to the incident This step is intended to restore the situation for users involved in staking, irrespective of what occurred. ⸻ FUTURE OF THE HUDI TOKEN ON BNB CHAIN The HUDI token on BNB Chain will continue to exist. However, its role within the ecosystem will evolve. In the short to medium term: • HUDI on BNB Chain will continue to be used for activities such as GMGM, Sunday Club, surveys, and community initiatives • until the launch of a new token, it will remain the main token In the long term: • HUDI on BNB Chain will be accompanied by other ecosystem tokens and will retain a functional role within the project • a significant supply burn will be carried out The HUDI token on BNB Chain will remain linked to the HUDI project and its community. ⸻ NEW TOKEN AND ECOSYSTEM MIGRATION As part of the structured response to the incident and the evolution of the project, we will launch a new token on World Chain. The plan provides that: • the new token will be redistributed to current holders, based on their holdings prior to the hack • access to the airdrop of the new token will require a burn mechanism of HUDI tokens on BNB Chain • the burn will act as a condition for migration and allocation of the new token Regarding the new token on World Chain: • the core conditions of the ecosystem will be recreated • a structure more aligned with the project’s long-term vision will be implemented The objective is to complete this process by Q2 2026. ⸻ We are fully aware of the complexity of the situation. As a result, tokens held in the staking contracts appear to have been removed and subsequently sold. A portion of the tokens may still be under the control of the attackers. 👉 This assessment is preliminary and subject to ongoing investigation.
