📢 Volunteers Needed – NRP + Participatory Budgeting Community Launch! In partnership with the People's Association, the Institute of Policy Studies (IPS), a policy research think-tank at the National University of Singapore, is looking for volunteers to support an exciting NRP+Participatory Budgeting (PB) initiative in Spottiswoode.   This project pilots a participatory approach to neighbourhood renewal, where residents are invited to co-create ideas and proposals for shared community spaces in their neighbourhood. 👥 Roles Available We’re looking for community volunteers to support in the following areas: 1. Event Management (5 pax) Assist with registration, QR code scanning, form filling, and catering support. 2. Discovery Walk Hosts (6 pax) Host the resident groups in specific areas of the estate and engage them in brief conversations so as to help them shape their ideas. 3. Facilitators (10 pax) Support early-stage idea generation and submissions (basic digital skills required). That is the question behind the Minimum Income Standard (MIS): a research method establishing what incomes households require in order to reach a 'minimum' standard of living.
