A Course for Officials will be held in Carlow (Ireland) on September 5th, Javier Hinojo Sanchez teaching. The Course will be in hybrid mode with an online part before the onsite date. Please sub at bit.ly/incomcourses by August 10th.

National tournaments are undergoing and the new uniform for SJs debuted last week at the Italian National in Rome, where the current judging method was launched 8 years ago. Today, the same uniform is being worn at the US National. It will be the uniform for all SJs worldwide from January 1st, 2027.

Derogation 2025/06/25/R2 Sabbie / Matricole has been published in the relevant folder at bit.ly/incomarc All competitors in these two tournaments, to be held the next June 27th, will respectively wear the beige subtunic and the black combat tee, and use a blue saber, regardless of whether they ranked up in the past few weeks.

Derogation 2026/04/27 Qualification to RN France and Italy has been published in the Derogation folder at bit.ly/incomarc formalizing the derogations agreed upon with the Rectors of both countries re qualification criteria to the respective National tournaments. Long story short, in Italy and France remaining available places in each Academy will be assigned according to the sum of Arena and Style rankings in each Academic tournament, in derogation of the current criteria in ITR 44.4.

Personnel and athletes in the Kingdom of Sweden will kindly note that Derogation 2026/04/26 Head Strikes in Sweden has been published, replacing and fully revoking the previous Derogation 2024/05/15 on the same subject.

Tournament sheets for BRAVO formula with 40 players 4 pools 16F and 36 players 9 pools 16F have been updated to V3 and uploaded to the relevant folder at http://bit.ly/incomevents

The sheet for 24 player / 3 pools tournament using formula BRAVO without elimination (i.e. with 8 byes in the 16F turn) has been updated to V3 and added to the relevant folder at bit.ly/incomevents It can be easily adapted for tournaments in the 17-24 competitors range. Feel free to contact your OB or INCOM should you need any clarification or help to set it up.

Please note that the error 500 that showed up when requesting to download the badge has been resolved, thanks to the efforts of our resident IT guru. A few accounts are still impacted by a separate issue and show "cannot generate badge" in their profile. This issue will be addressed shortly, meanwhile there is a workaround that can be implemented on the impacted accounts, so if you have a tournament this weekend, and lack a badge, PM me directly at t.me/anderopoli. Please note that the INCOM portal went through some backend changes, and there is currently a bug that impacts badge generation. If you do not have your badge and have a tournament this weekend, just inform your ONBOARD and mention the issue to the HO. We'll inform you as soon as the matter has been addressed. Thank you.
