Market view: 13 August 2026 As we can see on the chart, Nifty is clearly showing buying interest around the 24,300 zone, so the overall structure remains positive from a bullish perspective. If Nifty breaks above yesterday’s high of 24,470, we can look to add fresh long positions in the indices.

As we can see on the Nifty chart, the index is trading near a key support zone and around its higher-low level. From here, we can expect a bounce in Nifty, and the uptrend may resume. However, any closing below 24,150 would negate this bullish view. Banking stocks are currently underperforming, so for long-side opportunities, Nifty looks preferable to Bank Nifty.
