so today i was working on this big project, like really huge one ena its an ERP and i was focusing on service management module. and while doing that i needed a good prompt to give to my agent right? so i thought okay let me just ask chatgpt to rewrite me a prompt i wrote sofar, cause that seems easy. but here is the thing, when chatgpt writes it, it follows this pattern you know? like it makes everything sound proper and general, and then my custom prompt which i had in my mind becomes like this generic thing that doesn't even feel like mine anymore. and sometimes it even hallucinates, like adds stuff i never asked for. and honestly that makes me feel kinda ugly inside because i know i could have done better if i just tried. and like, i can say this publicly now, sometimes rewriting a prompt with chatgpt is actually not that advantagious compared to writing it yourself. yeah i said it. because when you write it yourself, even if its messy, its yours, it has your context, your way of thinking. so my personal recomendation after today? just write the prompt by yourself. be the one who refines it. even if you do decide to take help from chatgpt, make sure you reread it yourself and confirm everything is correct. but honestly i would say you guys should even refine it yourself only. don't rely too much on ai for this. thats what i noticed today while working on my erp project. its a big lesson for me. @jalos_trip
