  • New video just dropped: U.S. can't supply Israel's weapons needs even if it wants to It’s not about politics or willingness — it’s about capacity. America’s defense industrial base is stretched thin after years of supporting multiple fronts. Stockpiles are depleted, production lines can’t keep up, and the reality is hitting hard. This has major implications for Israel’s security and for U.S. strategy going forward. Watch it here: https://rumble.com/embed/v7bwuhs/?pub=ltn9b What do you think — is this the wake-up call that finally forces real changes in production and alliances? #jdl613 #jdl #jtf #jewishdefenseleague #jewishtaskforce #isreal #jews

  • But isn’t that coercion? Well, what can one do? Sometimes, undemocratic measures are necessary, such as preventing people from exercising their 'basic right' to rob banks… "The Sefer HaChinuch (Mitzvah 491, Shoftim) presents this concept in a revolutionary way. It explains that the path to educating people to fulfill the mitzvot is through love, via coercion. Here are the words of the Chinuch: '...to appoint judges and police officers who will compel the people to observe the mitzvot of the Torah and will return those who stray from the true path, even against their will... And through the habit of following the straight path out of fear, the people will naturally learn to be righteous out of love and recognize that it is the true way.' Yes, ironically, the way to fulfill the mitzvot out of love is through 'religious coercion!'" 𝑭𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒃𝒐𝒐𝒌 "𝑻𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒉 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑨𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏", 𝒘𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔 𝒃𝒚 𝑩𝒊𝒏𝒚𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒏 𝒁𝒆𝒗 𝑲𝒂𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒆.

  • 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐅𝐓𝐈𝐌 𝐅𝐮𝐥𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐭𝐳𝐯𝐨𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞 – 𝐕𝐢𝐚 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝘣𝘺 𝘉𝘪𝘯𝘺𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘯 𝘡𝘦𝘷 𝘒𝘢𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘦 When the Jewish people stood at Mount Sinai, they proclaimed without hesitation, 'We will do and we will listen' before even receiving the Torah. But if they were so willing to accept the Torah of their own free will, the question arises: Why was it given to them through coercion? Tractate Shabbat (88) tells us: “The Holy One, Blessed Be He, overturned the mountain over them like an inverted cask and said, ‘If you accept the Torah, fine; if not, there shall be your burial!"' But if they had already accepted the Torah willingly, why was such an extreme measure necessary? The Maharal of Prague, in his book Tiferet Yisrael, addresses this fundamental question in the following way: Since the Torah is the very essence of the Jewish people, and without it, we have no purpose or reason for existence, it cannot simply obligate us because we chose it. The connection must be deeper. It must be made clear that the Jewish people’s decision to receive the Torah ('We will do and we will listen') is not what gives the Torah its validity. Rather, it must be understood that even if, God forbid, we had said 'we will not do,' the Torah would still have been given to us, regardless of our will. Therefore, God overturned the mountain upon us to teach us that we should never think that we fulfill the Torah simply because we choose to. Rather, we must realize that it is a Divine obligation—the yoke of heaven 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐞𝐭 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞? This concept is particularly relevant today, as the basic Western notion of 'live and let live' has gained popularity among many religious Jews. Unfortunately, it is not uncommon to hear Jews who wear skullcaps casually repeating the slogan 'live and let live' as if it were one of the Ten Commandments. The reality is that many use this concept to absolve themselves, so to speak, from taking responsibility for Klal Yisrael. In doing so, they, on the one hand, legitimize every Jew’s right to choose their own faith, while on the other hand, they give themselves the justification to avoid the difficult obligation of tochacha (rebuke). Indeed, someone who has been immersed in Western culture for many years will find it difficult to accept the idea that the Torah was given under coercion, as it directly contradicts the fundamental democratic principle of 'live and let live.' The concept of 'religious coercion' has become a dirty word today, even among an increasing number of religious Jews who often fail to consider the implications of what they say. It is time to make them pay attention 𝐓𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐡 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐧? Has there ever existed a system of laws in this world that did not require coercion? Of course not. Such a system would lead to absolute chaos! Now, if we believe that the Torah is the exclusive system of laws for the Jewish people, how can we possibly claim that no coercion is necessary? And if this is the case, why all the guilt and inferiority complexes surrounding this issue? Is the legal system outlined in our Torah somehow unworthy, such that less should be demanded of it than from any other system of laws? Our sages tell us, 'If there are no police officers, there are no judges.' In other words, without a coercive authority to enforce the law, there can be no justice! Similarly, the Torah is filled with punishments that the court system—and let us not even speak of the Heavenly Court—must impose on transgressors. If that isn’t 'religious coercion,' then what is? There is a popular self-righteous argument that says, 'We must educate the people to love the Torah, so that they may fulfill it out of love and not under coercion.' Of course, this is true! But it is true in the same way it is important to educate bank robbers not to commit crimes. While we aim to teach them, in the meantime, we have policemen and judges who punish those who break the law, thank God.

  • Starting the day with Rabbi Kahane ✊🏼 To eradicate the evil and the wicked is a commandment for the generations. For regarding the commandment to hate and eradicate the evil, the Sages said: “‘[Because he was jealous for his God] and he atoned for the children of Israel’ — Did [Phinehas] offer a sacrifice that atonement is mentioned about him? Rather, to teach you that anyone who sheds the blood of the wicked is as if he offered a sacrifice.” (Rabbi Kahane)

  • Starting the day with Rabbi Kahane ✊🏼 The Holy One, blessed be He, in His greatness and wonders, created the Holy Tongue in such a way that many words indicate a thing and its opposite, as we have already said and emphasized. And here too, the similarity of the words “or” (light) and “iver” (blind) indicates man’s ability to choose good or evil, and teaches that from the same source — man’s choice — either good or evil will emerge. Therefore, one who chooses blindness distances himself from the truth and is asleep from the commandments and from truth, and to this blind one the Holy One, blessed be He, calls to awaken — from the root “ur” / “er” (awake) — as in: “Awake, why do You sleep.” (Rabbi Kahane)

  • Starting the day with Rabbi Kahane ✊ With disgust, the Torah turns its back on the notion of human freedom and man’s mastery over his body and his life. Thus the Sages interpret the verse: “And the tablets were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, engraved (חָרוּת) upon the tablets,” saying: “Do not read ‘engraved’ (*charut*) but ‘freedom’ (*cherut*); for there is no free person except one who occupies himself with the study of Torah.” A person is not free—not at liberty—to conduct himself as he sees fit. He is bound to the yoke of the Kingdom of Heaven, to the shackles of our holy Torah. Only then, through his willing acceptance of the service of God and the assumption of His yoke, does he become a free man. Only then is he released from the vanities of his animal nature, which turn him into a perpetual slave to his needs, his egoism, his desires, and the “self” within him. Only then is he freed from the chains of bestiality that bind him to desire that becomes abomination, and to abomination that becomes desire. (Rabbi Kahane)
